Shirts off in Canberra. If not, you're pussy.

Mate, we don't even take our shirts off to shower down here. Too cold.  :ninja:

So, a nice warm day by Canberra standards. Everyone from Sydney should remember to bring their snow gear.

Sooo...is there at least a hill behind a goal or something?

No, unfortunately. It's all pretty flat due to the runways and shiz for athletics events.

    Shotgun the massive mattress.

Newcastle play a Canberra NPL 'All Star' side the following Wednesday at  McKellar Park here in Canberra!  It's such a better venue for football. Wanderers game venue is rubbish.. someone should say something.  I would, but I can't use words goodly.

what this doesn't show is off right of picture along south-western side there is a small open stand with seating/terracing - this raised area would be best for viewing

its along way from ideal for spectators, yet other factors are at play in decision to play here inc training facilities and accommodation for squad at AIS

the national U17s use it as a base and regularly play training games - the surface is fantastic

we should just make the most of it

I believe we plan to leave around 4:45.  And presuming that its a 3 hour drive for you it may be better to meet there.

For those planning to get to pub early, I've alerted the manager to expect our supporters to trickle in from 12 noon onwards

we'll then move to the Castle Room from 2pm, which provides a good space for warm up singing

    Any road trips organized?

I didn't see much comment on this, is there anyone heading down on Wednesday afternoon that I could share a ride with? I'd help pay petrol $$...

Any thing else other than hats?

Patches and keyrings from what I may have seen on another thread.

Ahh okay, Any RBB flags or scarfs?

The only reason I don't like the new RBB bar scarf is because comments like these^ aren't ******* hilarious anymore... Now its valid to ask for a scarf.... Aww I miss the old days...

(But srs I wish I had the money for a bar scarf.)
