We need an Inactive support bay.

Dude we have one it's Bay 58 I sat there on Sunday and it's quieter than the cove
Same. It was beyond pathetic.

Any capos willing to help give em a kick?

And I think it will continue to be. It's the closest entrance from the gate. So all the new fans wanting an experience I think will continue to jump into bay 58.

Hi Guys,

This is merely a suggestion but I wanted to get opinions. I noticed the below link has a pic for the Mariners game

and I would love to see more scarfs up especially when the players come out of the tunnel.

I dont think we do it enough as a group and it looks brilliant. At the end of the day its up to the Capos to make

the call but I like it a lot. Its the third photo when you scroll across

I just wanted to follow up on my previous post before the Wellington match.

I thought when we put scarfs up during the game. It looked  absolutely brilliant where I was sitting.

Something so simple and very effective.

Also have to give credit to WSSskins for the great job he is doing manning that Capo stand and running it

like a boss. The visual bobbing up and down for the 1, 2, 3, West is soooooo easy to follow when your in the stands.

I have also noticed a few times he had to hold back a chant about 2-3 times because the action didnt allow for a good flow.

Example was one time we were just about to bust into a chant and Popa was making a sub right at that moment.

Top stuff skins. :good:

I still cant get over the Eastern grandstand calling out for the RBB. I will never forget that moment.

This ^. People on here called for there to be clapping for substitutions rather than chanting and it looks like its happening... (Or just coincidence, but its happened three times now since the post calling for it)

I am not sure. All I know is it happened at that moment. Skins has a good feel for the game and when to start the chants and when to stop them. I just noticed thats one time when he stopped a chant, because it ruins the flow in my opinion. The rest of the stands are looking at the player being subbed, the announcer gets on the mic, the people in the stands are sending off the player and welcoming the new one. Just follow skins, he knows what he is doing is all Im saying :D

Today was a disaster.

From western stand it seemed the north was verrrrrryyyy subdued pre game. Were the flogs the issue?

I shall respond with my Twitter rant which I shall be making quite alot of use of in the near future:

Let's just say... I'm pretty fired up - but my point remains.

Good effort comrade. Disgusting conduct tonight.

agree with everything except i was in middle of eastern stand and barely heard the cove

We usually sit in 58 but tonight we ended up in 59 due to the over whelming amount of flogs hogging seats for their mates who where coming later. We tried our damnedest to get some atmosphere going but it's a bit disheartening when the only voices I could hear in an entire bay were mine and the wife's.

We sit in Bay 7, Western Stand near the half way line.  Yes, the Cove was louder at times tonight.

The cove have better acoustics at Parra i.e. the roof.

Tonight was a festival of flogs... I won't go into details, but it was very disappointing...  :nono:  :nono:

i literally screamed myself to the point of shaking and twitching at half time! i couldnt have given anymore - i cant believe people so close to me were just kickin back enjoying the show. SO ANNOYING. And i was doing my best to wake everyone up too - wont have a voice for days now!

Anyway the trouble in the RBB was ****ed. The flares were ****ed - coming not from flogs. Turns out they were right about the tifo being a high risk - we 100% woulda had probs under it.

Parra Stadium has ALOT to answer for. People 55,56,57 (DESIGNATED ACTIVE BAYS) having security on their side asking for banners to be taken down. ***** a55 clowns. We are in active bays, we have no obiligation to put banners down! Security made thigns SO MUCH worse coz of that!

I'm with you bro, being told by seccos to take down banners in active bays... That's just taking the piss...

Nice face paint too, mate... :xnod:

I did say "at times".

It was noticeable because usually no-one outsings the RBB.  Still a good atmosphere though.

I've said this once before on here. The biggest problem is no diversion between GA North terrace entry and Active Bay RBB

Firstly couldn't find a sit behind the post... No problem at all. So one bay over for most the 90 minutes I could hear my own voice when chanting and it felt awkward

Posted

We are all there to support the team and that is it. **** all the other **** the in fighting and flares were disgrace

Posted

I was craving out of sync chanting cause that would mean Bay 57 can't hear Bay 56 cause everyone is going nuts.

From Bay 57 I could stay in tune with Bay 56. Strange let down

Posted

The whole flog thing has gone to a new level. For those that didn't read much of the post match thread, jamcal had about 4-5 flogs threatening to "****in bash your head in".

When flogs now come in and not only do nothing, but stop others from being active through abuse of physical power, you know there are real issues.

I was stuck in the outside of bay 58. I'm usually on the outside of bay 57 and yes it was flogs everywhere.

Unfortunately I don't know if there is a fix. The only possible idea is for the RBB to be at the gates come opening time. Even then though the flogs would find their way in.

It's just disappointing that a few losses are probably required to help our situation out.
