GD07 Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 I'd love one of those banners for above my front door.
Johnno Posted March 18, 2013 Author Posted March 18, 2013 Chanell 9 will probably do a story on how the banners were produced in factories by crazed, lesbian, single mothers on 459 visas, are constructed primarily of asbestos and when you walk past them you get cancer and a smack in the face.

Jowel Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 i hear a few shopfronts in the CBD will soon also have banners
barcenal Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 Banana now has some work to do It'll be his greatest work yet.
WSWanderer Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 couple of pics from Parra this morning. banners all down Church St, What an awesome sight! Red & Black City
Neverbloom Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 (edited) i love how much Parramatta is supporting the wanderers, whoever is deciding this will get my 368 votes Edited March 18, 2013 by TheGoatOfDoom
Burztur Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 Those banners look amazing! Where abouts in the CBD Jowel?
JamCal Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 I hope other councils get involved with the banners. We MUST ensure that this is a club for ALL of Western Sydney... Not just Parramatta.

Not just Parramatta. agreed i doubt they will do anything like this in the council of Windsor or whatever council i live in but i still feel as part of the club as ever, would love to see more councils jumping on though
Macak Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 I agree with more councils doing something similar. We dont want WSW to be associated with Parra. They are a West Sydney Team and should represent Fairfield, Blacktown, Liverpool, Penrith and Campbeltown just to name a few. Great support by Parra Council though. Thank you guys.
AEK Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 You guys can start by hanging your own flags on the cars and even your houses then send a petition to the councils with your photos and show them the support and love you have for the Wanderers, maybe it will happen. BUt generally speaking, i have seen this only done in or surrounding areas of the stadium so dont think there is much chance or luck that other councils might buy into this, also i havea feeling they are just promoting the Derby and the finals, it will all be gone come next week or end of season.

Look at it this way...This is the first time Parramatta flags have been taken down during an NRL for another sporting code, let alone football - THIS IS HUGE!

My point exactly, we live in an NRL loved areas where football wasnt cared for due to not having a team, you start small like this then slowly expand and also, might be just me, but i dont think i have noticed any eels **** in parra, maybe coz i dont pay that pathetic game any attention?
Burztur Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 Imagine if George St would look like that one day

Jowel Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 Those banners look amazing! Where abouts in the CBD Jowel? Looks like Church Street shopfronts will get some action

PARRASFC Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 "Who do you sing for?" - What was a Sydney FC chant becomes a catch-cry of the WSW. Fitting really, considering the number of ex-Sydney people now involved with WSW, including the coach, captain, players, fans.

wswanderersfc Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 that just wised up and realised how stupid it was to support such a pathetic excuss for a club p.s i dont see any fc banners around the east hahaha what does that tell you

Too bad if we were supporting your mob now they would be the best team in the comp. Then you would really have something to brag about. Although I do admire your lot for the losers that you are
