Note 1: This match is effectively the end of the string of matches that began with the first ever competitive match for the Western Sydney Wanderers against the Central Coast Mariners on the 6th of October 2012. Winning the the A-League Premiership saw them enter the 2013/2014 Asian Champions League, winning the competition on the 25th of October 2014, qualifying them for the 2014 Club World Cup.
Note 2: Romeo Castelen & Vitor Saba scored their first competitive goals for the Wanderers in this match.
Note 3: As the match was a 5th place play-off there was no extra time after regulation time, the match going straight to a penalty shootout, Setif winning 5-4 after 8 sets of penalties.
