Reading an article on school funding on smh.com.au and smack is the middle is an ad for the derby featuring Mitch.

I reckon the real campaign starts on Monday after the oval ballers have finished their respective seasons.

It's the derby - it's popa - there won't be any surprises

Even the other mobs team has picked itself

Vukovic

Holosko ninkovic brosque

Bobo

He's usually right . Not this time

Your Wanderers starting 11?

Hate to say but that front four looks dangerous.

We haven't won in the last 7 derby games (Jan 2014 was the last). Hopefully Bulut will get the right support and Popa will get the tactics right. Another loss after the arse spanking we copped from City would be hard to take.

People talk about our imports taking 6- 8 weeks to fire , that's a fair part of the season and too long. Whenever I started a new job I was expected to hit the ground running. Other teams imports seem to always more ready to fire straight away where ours take more time , don't really know why.

Round 1, Derby Day, I hope we have streamers/confetti to complement our TIFO.

It would be out of this world and will definitely provide a WOW factor for the first timers.

Everyone should be encouraged to bring their own paper too, see if we can get the non RBB to do it too.

Just watch out for the confusion as to when to throw - walk-out or kick-off! I like walk out, as long as we go straight into song.

C'mon riva, brighten up a bit. It's derby week!

Yeah . a bit too early - still in the analytical stage. The brightness will cut in about next Thursday / Friday.

Here you go riva, maybe this will help! For some reason I always find myself singing this on derby morning, especially if the sun is out. Just replace dancing for derby and you can't help but enjoy!

Welcome to the new shed Arnie

I'm sure he's looking forward to getting out of his usual little stadium.

Thing I'm looking forward to the most is watching a game at ANZ where there is no incessant "Aussie Aussie Aussie" chant

All great inspiring stuff guys. But the ultimate fun and adrenaline rush for me would be to win the game.

I don't think there is any doubt now that we will beat the Souths v Easts NRL regular season record crowd of 59,708. Next stop is the all-time Sydney AFL regular season and football code regular season record of 72,393 (Swans v Collingwood 2003). With even the SydFC section now Limited Availability and a week to go, I think even this is possible!

Watch Level 6 availability for a clue. All we want now is a Sydney regular season football code record, good weather, great and safe atmosphere, a terrific contest and a Wanderers win! That is surely not asking too much?!

missing the game

taking the family to Bali but we will find a sports bar and hope it's on! otherwise stream on via fox sports app.

when i booked the trip i was thinking surely they don't put the derby first up!

we will sell another 5 to 10K before game day I'll predict 72K for the crowd.

Good on you for having a crack & attempting to nominate a starting 11.

Many would nominate the same or a similar lineup.

All I will say is, yes, a week has been a long time in football.

Btw, I suspect Dimas will lead the team out & wear the armband.

Hmmm very cryptic.

Popa can be difficult to read, but if Thursday nights selections are any guide. he does appear to have reacted following the performance against Heart.

Derby will be a big occasion, so both coaches may put out conservative / experienced lineups & keep some firepower on the bench.
