He got offended cos of the bus not turning up thing???? Lol grow some coglioni dude! was just a f**king joke!!! Sense of humour dude!! ......hey! are u my missus? :P

We dont know what offended him but I dont think it was that. I look at the last post before he said his goodbye and it might be one of those posts. These guys have been pretty genuine, so I think we should all ease up a little. Plenty of supporters from rival clubs get along being friendly ie Celtic-Liverpool, Celtic-StPauli etc etc. I like these guys too.

The two main questions we want answered are what are Spira and Juric doing. I can see Spira starting here and Juric on the bench with Santa running like a dog tiring defenders and pressing for 60 minutes.

It's fair to say definite starters are Topor, Bridge, Golec, Covic, Poljak and Larocca. I can't see Popa shaking the lineup too much from last weeks game.

It makes sense for Spira to start and for Tomi to come off the bench after Santalab has run his balls off. I am hoping at least Saba gets 30-45 mins, preferably 2nd half.

I'd go the other way around, start with Juric and then bring Santa on in the last 25 to run his arse off.

The first half will be crucial. I'd rather start strong then be hoping for another miracle from Juric in the final 30

I have a feeling Juric will start, just as he did in the second leg against Guangzhou, to look for the first goal.

Pops can give him a rest after that and give Ruka a run in Willingtun.

You would have to start Juric, when he into the game last Saturday night the Al Hilal defenders couldn't handle him.

We looked like a more attacking team with him on the field

Gah! I am ridiculously excited about this match. I have been counting down the days since I woke up with a post match thumping headache and scratchy voice on Sunday morning. Work has been excruciatingly slow. And the boss has been flitting back and forth so am only able to sneak short peeks at the forum discussions :ninja: .

Come on Sunday morning, and COYW  :shout:

Depends on how Spira pulled up after the game, training etc..the kid hasn't started a game in a long time but his class is very much needed. Saba is class too don't be surprised if he starts.

I am just thinking its better to unleash Tomi on a tiring team who will need to look for a goal and push forward if the score remains 0-0. Tomi is brilliant if he starts or comes off the bench. A blue wave wipe out :P

Popa is so unpredictable. Just might unleash our best players available.

He probably left because he realised that he drives a Chevorlet that is really a Holden Commodore made in Australia (or at least they used to be)

Popa will go defensive, and bring on the gun players (saba & juric) in the second half. don't want to play your best cards by starting, what if this goes to 120 and your gun players are subbed because of fatigue. would be in a spot of bother.

they'll come on second half & look to close out the game :)

We definitely have more cards to play than we had in our last away game in Seoul. No one knows what the genius Popa thinks.

I think if we start Juric, increases our chances of an early goal, and if we do get that we can bring on Saba and Spira (provided he does not start). Both are brilliant at keeping the ball.

Popamwill definitely go with a defensive lineup he always does, it's our game plus we don't need a goal. With the game 0-0 at half time they will start pushing more forward which is perfect for our game the 'contra napad' (counter attack).

------------Covic------ ------

Cole ----NTS---Spira---Golec

------Poljak------La Rocca------

Haliti------Saba-----Bridge

----------Juric-------

That gives you Santalab to come on for either winger,

Mullen and Hamill to replace either Poljak or La Rocca who are both going to have play the game of their lives and then push Spira up to the #6

Depending on the situation and what is going on tactically, Appiah is another option on the wing if someone goes down early.

Depending on their fitness, I want Juric and Saba playing the full 90

popa will put the best team forward. Juric and spira will start. Saba and Santa off the bench. Kubi if we need a goal, trifa or hamill if were defending depending on how the backs/midfield coping

If that only worked for me as I am 6'5" tall  :nono:  Although at check in they look me up and down and offer me an emergency exit seat with more leg room  :good:

If you're coming to the live site, you have to stand at the back.

I'm no football expert, so please be gentle...

Would love to see Juric start, but he hasn't played alot of minutes in the last few weeks.
Santa's shoulder is a concern, and how many minutes does he have in him when he is running around with essentially one arm.

Shouldn't we just start with Santa, and see how long he can go for?
We lock it down defensively in the first half, and tire out Al Hilal.

Then in the 2nd half we can bring on Saba and Juric to close it out?

All trust to Popa, he knows best.
