Themumf Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 I thought the away support outdid the farce that is the NT. They are all ring on their forums about how much thy want wsw in the semi bit if they get their wish, only 100 or so will even turn up. Jokers. Typo city ^^ but you get the idea. All talk, no plane tickets. Neverbloom and Prydzopolis 2
ManfredSchaefer Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 I'm interested in the Hamburger that ESFC just bought. He's one of Lowys mates from the FFA. Do you reckon there's any merit in him coming over? Which Hamburger? Enlighten me please. Knowing the numpties at ESFC where Putin's banker will keep pissing his rubles against a wall...
lloydy136 Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Can't instill pride in the players at a plastic clubI some what disagree, There are some players like carle/ranko/petkovic/Ryall/Antonis. As for nothing to talk about LOL serious ? New coach, New coaching staff, New players, Pre season. I'll also chime in every now and then. As for the gui finkler goal its was in the last minutes we thought we were going to extra time. Also we had four days to organise it all, flights return were around $400. I organised to buses down. from reports i heard we were pretty loud considering North Terrace were some what active. yeah I actually thought the cove travelled in decent number and made themselves heard last night - hard to organise an interstate trip on short notice. there are many things that can be thrown at the smurfs for what has been a largely shambolic season but it was the victory fans that let the side down last night in the 'australia derby' (lol) not the smurfs. whether this is because they are so myopic once their gaelic eggball starts that they are unaware of anything else, ffa price gouging or robson and crew have managed to alienate a big chunk of the fanbase needs to be analysed asap because to me 20K is an alarmingly low figure for what in theory was a showpiece game. The entire city was like a ghost town, walked around for 1 hour and decided the only place worth being at was the pub. So what count down do we have for frank to be sacked ? I've got after the skyblue before the end of May
Nnnnnathan12 Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 It all depends on what Graham Arnold wants to do, if he wants the gig then frankie is gone Themumf 1
Themumf Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Player for player there can't be many better squads in the comp, so you'd have to think something is going wrong tactically. Makes you re-think the common suggestion that rado was the brains behind Roar's unbeaten run....
Guest Southy Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 It all depends on what Graham Arnold wants to do, if he wants the gig then frankie is gone I would put a $50 frank not being there next season. What gets me arnold would have taken the job and wanted to bring his on staff the club wouldn't budge, though they gave frank rado.
Tranquilo Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 does anyone else think that they may be hinting at having ADP as coach/player next season. Its clear he wants to stay on board in Sydney, whether he has the legs to continue is the other issue but some kind of role im sure ESFC would want as it would keep the ADP fan boys locked in for another season.

If anyone believes that he has the capability of becoming a significantly successful coach/manager as well as playing at ESFC they need their head read. I don't believe anyone would deny the Juventus Diver has a wealth of experience and skill when it comes to doing what he has done on the pitch, but trying to maintain the intensity and level of his performance on the ground whilst catering to all the tactical, man-management and recruitment needs of a club that has been as dysfunctional as ... well as dysfunctional as ESFC...well it'd be beyond the scope of anyone let alone ADP. I would not be surprised if he stays on in some kind of role where he can maintain his lucrative leeching contract from a merchandising and branding point of view, so perhaps he may stay as a player. Or transition off the field entirely and become perhaps the new Rado (who will probably either be given the flick or promoted when Farina goes and Arnie says no thanks). Also I wouldn't put it past the FFA to maybe swing in and try and get him on board in some kind of promotional/business role. Bob 1

Lost count how many of these I've seen. If it was wildly incorrect you'd expect it would have been corrected by now.
westofcentre Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 (edited) ESFC have just released their 2014 cook book "recipes for success" ESFC Easter roasted Lamb * start of by promising your family you will have the best roast they will ever taste and that you will be in control of the lamb roasting process. * add a pinch of alcohol * throw in a table spoon of anger management * lightly season with no foresight and sprinkle just a little bit of no game plan. * Roast for 2 hours in a $4 million dollar state of the art Italian oven * if its still not turning out ignore the recipe and just buy whatever ingredients necessary. Seasoning from Serbia and older spices who have seen better days are recommended. * ignore your family who have walked out on you because your dish isnt turning out. * finally GAMBLE on the fact that everyone else you know who is preparing a lamb turns out worst then yours so you can vaguley be considered in the top 50% as far as quality goes. * Serve your steaming pile of sh it hoping people will turn up. Put some bells and whistles on it when you realise what you actually have is mutton, in an attempt to dress it as lamb. Merry Easter dollar signs from everyone at ESFC. May you have bountiful employment so you may continue to support our franchise. From everyone at corporate headquarters, just remember - we are doing you a favor. Prydzopolis Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 “But the football club will always move forward, irrespective of whether one player stays or goes. Nothing is built around one person or individual. Haha you built your team around him and now you are trying to tell me the last two seasons weren't all about ADP? Good one ESFC... Hahaha

Smart too, pay him $4mill as a coach, then have him a manager/player paying him minimum salary as a player. Problem solved.
Jowel Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 If ADP stays as part of ESFC as part of the coaching staff, imagine the enormous shadow he will cast over the manager. Who really will be pulling the strings there? Can't see it ending well
