We have totally dominated since then, even before the Canadians went a man down. The only time they have looked like doing anything is when we have given the ball away. Canadians hanging on with some lucky bounces. Only a matter of time, especially with fresh legs of Simon or De Vanna to come on. First half was very promising, but just couldn't finish to save their lives. The stakes are definitely high now. Good performance by Williams between the sticks, solid penalty stop. I thought Kerr looked lively in the first half and was a major focus for some of the good things they were doing. However, her sharpness wasn't there. She blew a great 2 on 1 by panicking and taking it too early, and she also totally mistimed the volley she had. But they looked better when she was on. That said, Kyah Simon only got 20 and she always does something, as does De Vanna. But neither of them really got into the game that much in the time given. I think Stajic was looking at the amount of games they have to play in such a short space of time. It's how they have approached other tournaments and worked so can't blame him. If they put away their chances they would have won. In the end, what cost us was a terrible stuff up in the first minute, and then some unlucky bounces and ricochets when we were dominating in the first half where the ball just wouldn't drop for us. But they can beat Germany, you gotta believe! Runner up in the group is probably better than winning.
