Alexander Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 With our injury list, 6 points from the last 2 games is extraordinary. Great free kick by Mata for the winner. Rashford had a good game despite not scoring another 2 goals. Quite the crop of kids we've got coming through Prydzopolis and DinoPresinger 2
Prydzopolis Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Man Utd fans, highly recommend you listen to the most recent times podcast (called The Game) Week 29. Fast forward to the parts where James Scowcroft who is a Man Utd fan & pundit comment on the youth academy. Alexander 1

Legionista Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 Jekyll and hyde. Just when things are looking up we bottle it. I'm not in favour of chopping and changing managers but it's extremely difficult to see how Van Gaal can turn this around. Alexander and Prydzopolis 2
JoFo Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 Jekyll and hyde. Just when things are looking up we bottle it. I'm not in favour of chopping and changing managers but it's extremely difficult to see how Van Gaal can turn this around. Been the story from the start under LVG really. He gets 'one game' away from the sack then we win a few in a row then back to a slump and repeat over and over. Fact is he has now won 5 in 14, 1 in the last 8 away EPL games and our last 6 league losses have come against West Brom, Sunderland, Saints, Stoke, Norwich and Bournemouth. The really scary part is that the closer we get to the starting XI he wants, the worse we play. The youth injected a sense of fearlessness and freedom into our side and it's already quickly being sucked out the longer they are under LVG's influence. Not to mention dropping 3 of our most in form players (Schnederlein, Memphis and Varela), all 3 who probably have had their best run in a United shirt ever. Alexander and Prydzopolis 2

Fast forward to the parts where James Scowcroft who is a Man Utd fan & pundit commenton the youth academy.About their youth academy this is a quote from a Foxsports article about Jose Mourinho United’s determination to foster their youth prospects is a key component of their football strategy. Every single matchday squad since October 1937 has included at least one player who came through the club’s revered academy. Amazing, hope the WSW academy produces players like that in the future. http://www.foxsports.com.au/football/premier-league/paper-talk/paper-talk-stumbling-block-threatens-to-scupper-jose-mourinho-to-manchester-united-deal/news-story/b2a6599181a69f87eac161b17648f8e2 Edited March 7, 2016 by FCWanderers Prydzopolis and WSW27 2

I read recently that United have actually lowered their spending at their academy and a lot of their talent has been snapped up by City. IIRC, the call was made by the owners, as they feel it's not as valuable as other areas of club investment . Which, if true, is very disappointing Prydzopolis 1
Prydzopolis Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Alexander, highlighted in the podcast. Was quite scathing of the Glazers & the lack of production line after the current crop. With this in mind & the amount of money that you guys have to invest, maybe Mourinho isn't a bad choice? Jekyll and hyde. Just when things are looking up we bottle it. I'm not in favour of chopping and changing managers but it's extremely difficult to see how Van Gaal can turn this around. Been the story from the start under LVG really. Doesn't ring more true than this, 3 very good wins in all competitions (2 x PL + 1 x Europa) & then two bad results in a row. When you were going through your spell it was a case of when he was going to be sacked, win a few games then it all goes quiet. Lose 2 & then it's back to when he is going to be sacked. So true about the youth comment & loved that the young striker got subbed at half time so he could go home to finish his homework Seriously though, what was going on in the performance last tonight?
Alexander Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 ^^^ We were rubbish. There's no excusing that performance Burztur and Prydzopolis 2

Alexander Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Blind injured in training with the Dutch National Team. Standard
Davo Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Bastian did his knee with the Germans too. England has another game coming up so that's 90 mins for Smalling to get injured. As long as the Russians leave Martial alone I'll call this international break a win.
JoFo Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Missed out on Renato Sanches to Bayern.....same old story. Absolutely devastated. That kid is an absolute gun and will be world class in a few years time. It could also have far bigger implications though. Sanches and Mourinho both have Mendes as their agent. I can't see Mendes letting Sanches go to Bayern if Jose wanted him and was coming to United. Have a bad feeling this means LVG is staying another year.... DCWSW and Prydzopolis 2
West13 Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 We had better ******* win tomorrow. On Bayern.. they will win the next 20 bundesliga titles with their stockpiling of quality players. Prydzopolis 1

Its crazy you know, it seemed like it was a done deal a month ago & since then there has been lots of leaks coming out making it look less & less likely he will be going to Old Trafford. The latest was that Mourinho was asked whether he wanted to take over MU next summer which is pretty silly stuff with the compensation package Mourinho has lined up. Quite interesting hearing about the power battles behind the scenes with Sir Alex on one side whilst Ed Woodward on the other, with the numbers people wanting Mou & the football people not wanting him!
West13 Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Half time. 1 nil down. 1 shot. Off target. West ham killing us. Bottling top 4 chance. Prydzopolis 1

JoFo Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 FMD. Has a manager ever been so able to always win a match when he's on the cusp of getting sacked yet always lose one when it seems like we have hope. **** this painful season. Prydzopolis 1
