I can understand why the RBB and most people will walk out at some point during the match, everyone can.

But allow those who want to stay and watch the game to do as they wish.

Who is saying they cant?
No one, yet.

But I recall after the pepper spray debacle, there were certain forumites that had certain things to say about those that wanted to stay behind while the rest of the rbb left.

That is true.

However i think the onus is on the RBB/Active members to walk out as one this time. The pepper spray incident was different in that it was unplanned and a quick response to an incident then and there.

If you are non-active i really so think you can do what you want without judgement. If you are Active at Gosford you dont have to leave, but having been warned of the intent to walk out, at least move to another bay. This will be on tv and sitting in the centre of the active bay will leave someone looking like a tosser.

However, it is every persons right to do as they please. It is also everyones right to an opinion, and this situation is very different to the perth match, so IMHO please at least just move to a non-active bay so everyone wins (the message is made clearly and whoever wants to stay, can stay and watch without feeling like a twat)

Hope this goes well cause the Gosford away is the very mixed lots of families and non rbb usually looking for their once a year active experience . A lot of these would have no idea about the walkout or probably not want to do it anyway . Worst case scenario is 1000 exit leaving 2-3000 there doing WDYSF for 45 mins .

I think a simple message from the capo would be effective in preventing wannabe capo's after we leave. For example "for those WSW fans that are unaware, we're leaving in protest to...If you don't want to leave with us that's ok, but please respect our protest by not attempting to generate an atmosphere after we are gone".

Not sure you can ask them not to generate an atmosphere. That's as ambiguous as asking them to remain 'family friendly'. If it's even deemed necessary (I doubt it is) just say it'd be appreciated if no RBB songs were sung.

That's what I meant.

Although can you create a noticeable atmosphere without some kind of coordinated chant/song?

Option 4 as well for me. Would love to be there but can't. Would've definitely walked out.

Option 3 ;)

80th min is too late, but would it be sacrilegious to do the Poznan just before we walk out (say in the first half) anyway? It would be a great image.

I don't think so. The poznan isn't about that for us.

This tears me. I've never walked out a minute early, even when we're losing, as respect for the guys on the pitch .... BUT .... I respect what the RBB is doing here - a totally peaceful protest like this will shove it right up the haters' arses.

FFA has been ****ed since the NRL dud took over. And they were never much good in the first place.

haha yeah good point. I think some would take that to mean "I can't clap goals etc? F you RBB". That's why I doubt it'll be necessary - the atmosphere will be crap anyway!

We all can fight the good fight in which ever way we like. If standing on your head for 20 minutes makes you feel as though you can make a difference then great, do it. No one will be or should be judged for whatever reason or way they choose to make a stance or not make a stance. Some people here have said they will walk, some said they will stay and others have said they will stay but not chant or sing. Each to their own here as everyone's story is different.

You try and explain to a 3 year old you're leaving early and can't do WDWSF, which he waits for all week to scream out.

Anyone judging anyone else for their stance because it isn't what is expected as a RBB directive or not aligned with their belief, is no better than the halfwits and their draconian ideology we are protesting about in the first place.

I won't be walking out on my team because this I don't agree with. No one can deny I haven't done my bit for the cause this week. In saying this I will respect everyone to make a decision for themselves and be happy with that choice. I will save the biggest cheer of the day for the RBB when they walk out and make their stance.

Each battle is fought on many fronts and this is no different. We are protesting for the right of fairness and justice for all, there are many ways to do this and not one way or another is wrong or right. We are in this together and we will not be divided, this is what the perpetrators want.

Those who choose to stay could stand en masse and clap while the RBB file out. That will come up significantly in the tv coverage.

(I think I'll probably do it anyway).

@dmixtaaa: We don't always agree on matters of active support- but that is a heck of a post. The last thing we need to be doing now is attacking one another (and I extend that to other team supporters).

My greatest fear for this weekend is that other wsw fans will actually boo when the rbb walks out, andthen chant louder than they were before.

I'll be there with my pensioner parents who live on the CC and support the CCM, and with my kids, so a walkout isn't really on for us (unless we walk back in so to not leave my parents behind wondering what's going on..:-)

We'll be in the GA area so I think the idea of clapping the RBB walkout is a great idea and we will definitely be doing that.

It will have good impact if it is seen that the average Joe supporter and those families, who are supposedly scared to go to football games, actually do support the RBB and their stance on this issue...

I hope the RBB will be providing flyers, basically with their statement explaining why're walking out, to hand out to WSW fans (rather than just RBB).

Just to keep everyone in the loop, as not everyone is on the internet.

Great idea :good: perhaps someone could pass this on or email them?

Maybe a photocopy of last Sunday Telegraph as a flyer would serve as sufficient explanation. I think by Sunday though few will be unawares of what's going on. Its worth the effort of travel and ticket just to walk out. Down tools down.

The club don't want it but there's no reason why we can't use this as OUR WSF anthem. At times like this this just makes my spine tingle, hair on the back of my neck stand up, eyes water and just a massive sense of togetherness....  :grouphug:

What ever your leadership stance on this each supporter group should stand by it

Like sheep, you are saying...with no right of reply...Sounds familiar?

I'd be more worried about the boycott at your games which seems to be every game so far this season, at the very honest and loyal mansion they call Le Allianz, Run by the SCG trust...ironic name that.  :nono:  :nono:  :nono:

Dmixtaaa bro... not the right time or setting.

No I disagree. This Fapman incarnation should be allowed to give a divided opinion on here just as I can. Le Cove can go get F U C K E D and anything to do with them. They never once have come out in support of any of this so they can just F U C K off and die.
