  1. Wanderers HQ right now...
  2. Hi WSF'ers - we're at that silly part of the season (no, not just the regular Wanderers season) where life can be overwhelming with Christmas and what it brings. For some it brings along family gatherings, gifts and relaxation, but for others it triggers family conflict, financial burden and stress and anxiety. I, for one, have (and sometimes still do) experience the not so ideal side of Christmas where I feel isolated amongst groups of people due to obligation to participate in events. Ideally I would love to relax on my own terms, but with a family and a growing extended family, it's not all about me anymore. It's been about exercising prioritisation, scheduling and understanding. Others can be the complete opposite where, for example, COVID is greatly restricting travel to see loved ones and would love to be in my situation instead of being completely apart from people and isolated. I'm not sure where I'm going with this. "Sometimes I'll start a sentence, and I don't even know where it's going. I just hope I find it along the way." - Michael Scott - teddies I guess I just want to say who ever feels not so jolly this Christmas, please slide into my DM's. I'm on signal, whatsapp, telegram and I'm happy to chat or listen to anything. Please be safe. You matter. People do care. Happy festivus! That's my Christmas message. My normal message/update: In terms of my mental health; it's improving. For those who don't know (most likely you all) I experienced a bout of depression which stemmed from a variety of situations. And without going through the details of what those situations were, I did find improvements in prioritising myself first in some cases. There was a lot of mental and emotional bandwidth which I freed up by re-prioritising things and slowly letting things go. Easier said in a couple of sentences than done. But it's working. As an aside, one of those things that I had to let go of was the feed of sports (including our beloved Wanderers). Sports took too much of my time throughout the day, particularly as I am a fan of American sports, it was just constant reading up on latest news, stats and even the odd multi here or there. It's not like I was becoming obsessed with it as I actually enjoyed reading and analysing stats. But work and life was taking a back seat and didn't leave much time for ACTUAL meaningful living. So that's one of the reasons why I've been not so active here. Anyway, whatever your situation is or isn't, I hope you prioritise yourself and find some mental clarity.
  3. Beautiful! So scenic! So refreshing to see something like this amongst the modern stadiums. It's great to see that the community benefits inside and out of it too.
  4. Speaking of which, my banda jacket is on its way!! Go Wanderers!
  5. I thought the Generals were due! He's spinning the ball on his finger! TAKE IT!
  6. I remember when a friend was in the UK or US at the time the episode revealing the who did it was on. She came back to Aus and held the secret from me for weeks or months until the episode aired here and blurted out Maggies name seconds before the show did. I look back at it and think how bizarre that it could be kept a secret for that long and how nowadays we would know instantly. Mind you i was 10-11 at the time too. Ahh simpler times.
  7. My local EB has them in stock maybe twice a month? Perhaps not the Series X tho. Also, since my last post about FM20, I've pumped over 200 hours into it. After leading WSW to 2 FFA cups, 2 titles in 3 seasons, it wasn't enough to get any interest from any notable English Championship sides or US sides - I also learned that I had to load other leagues as part of my game to have any sort of visibility to and of them. After a dozen failed interviews I landed on a role at Salford. Now just to keep them in the top half of the league.
  8. HA! Someone dig up the thread which was the playoff of the worst players. Good times... sort of.

    Dylan McGowan

Signed with Kilmarnock on 2 year deal. All the best.
  11. I downloaded the FM phone app on my android and its a much better UI thats for sure. Apparently some of the features are lacking between the PC and Android version, but nothing sticks out as yet. At least I can gather by the warmth of my phone on these cold winter nights.
  12. Also, which football manager game is the better one? Top Eleven? Football Manager? Edit: I noticed top eleven is free and has in app processes.
  13. is this PC? or mobile? I hate the UI interface on Pc.. looking for a phone friendly version because my laptop is a bohemoth
