Harsh, in my opinion. Especially the comparison to the goal-starved, bald messiah. The only criticism I have of young Tomi at the moment is he falls over too much. I'm hoping that gets coached out of him, it's not the way I want my team to play.

His distribution is phenomenal, he drops into space in front of the opposition back four far better than Dino ever could, his defensive running and pressure is just as good as Dino's (contrary to popular opinion, Dino's just looked impressive as it was all he offered). Probably just short of Dino's ability in the air, but I think at will come. Let's see what the comments in this thread look like at round 13 and make our judgement then.

I'm big enough to admit when I'm wrong. He's also better in the air.

See, I'd argue that you were in fact right! You DID say that you think it will come - and that's exactly what see saw last night! :)

Tomi is an absolute beast. He had that ripper of a snap shot in the first half that almost caught Galekovic. The amount of work that he is doing off the ball is phenomenal. You just don't see it in strikers these days. They usually chase only when a goal is on the cards, not this kid. Just amazing to see. Its funny listening to other teams supporters criticizing our style, the simple fact is, if it was easy for teams to play they would play it themselves. Its high energy, high octane, hard working. The guy is not getting that many chances to tell you the truth but he is giving himself every chance by putting himself in great positions. That first goal was an absolute ripper, lazer in the bottom corner.

For those who made rumours that Juric will be out 8 weeks.. where did you get your source from?!

In future..

PLEASE DO NOT POST INJURY NEWS UNLESS YOU HAVE A SOURCE

If you have hearsays/(I have a source within the club).. let us know!

It's annoying and gives everyone else misguided information.

Here's the official update..

He is facing at least a week on the sidelines. ''His knee has pulled up sore. It's not as good as we thought he would be,'' Tony Popovic said on Tuesday before training. ''He's seeing a specialist and doing all the right things. We're hoping it's nothing serious, but we're still waiting to find out.'
