I'm really loving this display of football from the boys.
It might be too early to call but it seems Cox is back to his normal form
Russell, Aquilina, Dorrans and Baccus are willing to have some attempts at goals which is good.
Hope we get a repeat of it in the second half.

F'n unsportsman like playing  on though.

Diasgree. If I’m coaching, I’d tell my players to play to the whistle and keep going. Up to the referee to stop play, not the players in my opinion

    Liking Baccus going forward tonight

Same applies or Dorrans. I thought his shoot at goal actually was a goal.

There is no consistency in the refereeing. That early pen shout was very similar to the Ninko pen, O'Toole challenged for the ball, was late and collected Troisi.

If they give the Ninko pen, they surely have to give that.

No it's was the diving chunts Smurfs. Also get the rub of green with the match officials.

You'd think so, but the consistency comes in that we never get it.

I agree but I think it isn't really fair if an opposition player injures one of our players in that instance.

Why should they get an attacking advantage for them injuring our player?

Similar to what happened last year with Ziegler in the Roar game where he had to go off for someone elbowing him in the face and they go up the other end and score.

Russell really stepping up this season, hope it continues. Dorrans is a real leader for us in the middle. We have good options and depth up front. Baccus will forever run around like a headless chook with zero composure. Tass hasn’t shown enough for me that he can be a long term solution for us at CB, but better than Zeigler.
Troisi hasn’t impressed me so far this season, maybe needs a little more time to gel. Overall we are looking good, solid first half.

In this instance Russell remained on the field, so referee needs to stop the game. If we are playing Sydney and one their players goes down, do we kick the ball out?? I would hope not!

I agree, but I said in THAT instance of Ziegler. Different instance in a derby.

Ziggy is the first foreigner to get what it means to play for West Sydney since Jerome Polenz.

    What about Schwegler?

Kinda funny that Robinson talked about Kamau being a forward and now he's playing right fullback.
