    Anyone see the press conference grabs when Al Hilal coach was asked about the Wanderers fans?

    I actually respect his response..'have you seen the al hilal fans?'.

    But still... He ain't seen westies (or dudettes)

    What he has seen on video and on the interweb is nothing like the barrage of enemy fire tomorrow night in the flesh!

    forgive me for making a big rude but i dont know why all the hype about them? i have **** all idea about their club, fans, stadium, players...are they the barcelona of the saudi premier league? With all the carry on in this thread with youtube vids you'd think we were playing chelsea tomorrow. forgive my rude though just not up to date with middle east football.

    Anyone else can't sleep?

    I'm shitting proverbial bricks right now. Didn't have much nerves going into either A-league Grand final but we have so much to prove tomorrow. Can't imagine what the players are going through.

    What are the opinions of Australian flags in the RBB for ACL games? 

     

    Yeah, it is wanderers vs al hilah. But it's also seen as Wanderers(Australia) vs Al-Hilal(Saudi Arabia). True?

     

    I notice countries flags in a lot of UCL games...

    I'm not sure if you can do that because I distinctly remember the game against Kawasaki Frontale the seccies at the gate were talking off people Jap flags...
    Wow I thought it was an aleague only rule that, only allowed flags of teams not nationalities

    Pretty sure esfc fans had Austrian flags last week.

    Thought that wasn't allowed!

     

    Not really sure. I would have liked a Red and Black Aussie flag for a one off to commemorate our win tomorrow night....    :flag:

     

     I think it's ridiculous if you're actually not allowed.

     

    I like the idea of having a wanderers flag, and the Australian flag attached to it directly underneath it...On the same flag pole.

    You must know your opponent. I have never heard of WSW until this year. I had to come to your forums to know who we are facing. I watched videos about WSW and reports about them too. You might want to do the same :D

    Al-hilal females fans might not be allowed to attend games, but they sure are active supporters. They swarm the Hilal forums all the time, also, there has been a couple of Al-hilal female fans contributing to this thread,

    You might find this interesting! 

     

    I found this report about how WSW rivals from Melbourne Victory FC were supporting Al-Hilal in that match. They also were carrying Al-Hilal flags. 

     

    It also shows how WSW fans had some Al-Nasser fans (Al-Hilal Rivals) in their crowds. 

     

    It seems rivalry is spinning out of control!
