Youlley bosses NPL2 and it would be a shame to lose him while he's still improving. Despite this, he's still not yet at the level of Baccus. That's why we haven't seen him this year

Cheers bro.

Score goals ? Come on as an attacking option ??

He comes on as a holding midfielder - that's his job

Football, in most instances, is a matter of opinion, but anyone who thinks Bacchus can't play, or cant make a contribution to an Aleague team, doesn't know the game.

As a squadie, there aren't many better options in our league... In fact there are first team players at other clubs not as good as him

The unanswered question is whether he can elevate himself to be a regular first team player at a club like ours... If he really wants to, I think he has the ability to do it.

I'm including it. Despite that he showed more drive in the time he was on than Andreu did all game. Yeah he made one mistake right at the end when we were desperate to get the ball down the other end, but he went past players and drove forward with pace & purpose. Yes I know that's not Andreu's game, but only one of those two looked up for it yesterday.

Youlley is leaving. I thought he was great in his small time he has been afforded on the park.

But we dont know why he doesnt play more... taurus?

I did post a few months ago that some of the younger brigade had attitude issues, that Popa wasn't pleased about. None of them other than Aspro, have been able to play any meaningful minutes in the top grade this season. You can expect that most of our contracted U21 / Youth Development players will be released when their contracts expire.

From what other good judges have told me, Baccus was a standout performer in NPL1 at Blacktown City & could play any role in midfield at that level. AL is another step up, that many players just don't seem to cope with.

You're the one who went from GF performance to whole season. You can't seriously be comparing Andreu to Baccus favourably?

no i went off your original comment that he has done nothing all season , i am not comparing them and saying baccus is better i am saying

1) baccus has done his job well, and asking him to come on and score or assit's is just ridiculous, its like asking redmayne to score a free kick

2) Andreu has made mistakes just as baccus has

3) im a little shocked that you of all people (someone who i think has s a very good understanding of the game and our squad) would think baccus has done nothing

at the end of the day it is really all a matter of opinion i am just struggling to find where you think baccus has done nothing, and you brought up the mistake in the gf not me and if you are going to bring up his mistakes only fair to look at andreu's aswell.

He had a good game, great ball for the first goal. He gets a lot of stick for losing the ball in the grand final. He's also one of those players that because he isn't a foreign player or has ran thru flare smoke gets a load of criticism and no acknowledgement. (See also sotirio, J)

Nob behind me gave both of them stick all game. "Get kuzikami on!"

Btw I'm sure if somebody goes thru my old posts I'm guilty of it too

What did the nob behind you say when kuzikami came on and lost the ball almost every time?

Happy for him to go at seasons end. Played well on the weekend but too little too late. Perhaps he is realising that his contract is up at seasons end and he needs to prove something. I just don't think he adds much to the team.
