And so the Ferrari without steering wheel is moving on. He can't complain about not having been given the opportunity to make his case. He rarely managed to do so though.

 

To me he was Popa's favourite non performer. At times I walked away from games with a sore neck - the result of violently shaking my head in light of his decisions on the pitch. If he starts performing at a different club then he will have fooled us all.

Transfermarkt has listed him as gone to Newcastle as of yesterday. Just depends on how reliable you consider TM to be I guess. Newcastle is the obvious place though. There's a few vacant spots that urgently need filling up there.

Wasn't there a bit of interest from China during the group stages of the Asian cup?

Talk of him wanting to play in Asia

maybe of to the nux?

This was rumoured prior to season starting, maybe...
