As much as two goals might seem a comfortable margin, the whole psychology of the game will be inverted if we score first. Comfort will change to panic stations for them.

We should be concentrating on getting the first goal, then I feel more can more easily follow.

it may seem a tough ask, but as we know with the 1997 Iran WCQ things can change quickly in football.

We can see the Exit already, so have nothing to lose. Let's go for it!

To start off with Tommi gun would be a step in the right direction IMHO.

I think I agree with you about Tomi starting dmixtaaa, but he occasionally gets caught flat-footed. It may be wishful thinking, but a striker should never be left on his heels.

Tomi has such explosiveness in his finishing and a pretty good strike rate for the time he has spent on the pitch, but I wouldn't be surprised if Popa, once the relative peace of the 'off-season' arrives, engages in a bit of self-reflection as to whether he really got the best out of Tomi in playing him as relatively infrequently as he has - despite injury.

Popa will no doubt be mindful in any such review that there are other players to balance and he is after the best for team performance overall.

This is, I feel, Tomi Juric's type of match. This is his time to show us all just what a great talent he is. Just do it Tomi!

Boys, could I get someone's membership number if they're not using it for this game? I've got two mates that want to come but I've already bought two tickets with my membership.

Or you could buy two RBB tickets and I'm happy to pay you on game day.

and repeat x100 lol Not expecting much midfield action, punt long balls to attack and then a quick retreat style game! There will be plenty of goals I think.

sanfrecce score 30 seconds after the kick off, they park the bus until they get a player sent off after 80 minutes giving ono a freekick on the edge of the box. on his last game in red and black he scores to make it 1-1 and the crowd erupts with hope.

its the 85th minute now, the westies are pushing with all they can, ono with the cross ,DEFLECTED AND IN, with 5 minutes to play the wanderers are in with a shot.

the 92nd minute now, ono breaks away from a compact hiroshima midfield, he plays the ball out wide to hersi, he runs down the wing and sends one in, IT FALLS TO ONO and with the last kick of the match its been blazed over the bar.

sanfrecce advance on aggregate

i hope the field is chopped up by the nrl.

they bypassed our pressing game last week with ease. a bad field may help us out.

also, one thing that i think was underutilised was balls put into the area from wide positions for tomi to get a head on to.

hate to say it, but we need to play more physically against these guys and not let the game flow.

essentially; win ugly.

Almost 12500 at the Eels tonight.

I'd love that many there on Wednesday.

Let's hope the field is still  in good shape.

.....Don't let an untruth get in the way of a good story....How many free tickets were given out for tonight. I know of at least 8 people who don't know each other who were given free tickets for tonight. Coincidence...I think not....

Not to mention during aleague games there's only a few spare chairs around yet we get quoted as having 12,000. Where they expect to fit about 9,000 people on those days fool me. Someone once told me that the NRL count every single person at the game. Merch staff. Bar staff. Security. Camera crews. Refs. Players. Media. I don;t know how true that is but all I know is our numbers always seem lower than they appear.

10000 is good but not good enough considering the make or break nature of the game. C'mon start buying those tickets boys and girls. We all need you there!!!

10,000 sold so far exceeds what I thought would have sold by now, could have been worse.

Few walk ups on the night we could get 11,500 - 12,000.

Feels like a big night coming up more because of the significance of players leaving as much as the game. Ono last time in a WSW shirt, getting all emotional just thinking about it!

i bought 2 tickets yesterday in the western terrace. was looking at east/west stand options and the only tickets were in the end bays, that must mean we could fill the grandstands and half the terraces plus may half the RBB and 6 people in the southern end  :meep:

sounds more like 12 thou than 10 to me.
