Here's to hoping we play our strongest possible starting 11

Would have been great to have our captain who got NO game time In Japan. Thanks again Postecoglou.

I'm hoping he will start in Asian Cup but I can see him being backup to Sainsbury and Wilkinson with Spira starting. Can't see Ange just will change things and just go with Spira and NTS when they haven't played with the keeper or the two wing backs or the CDM (Mile). Not a great strategy and Ange has his clear favourites going into the Asia Cup. Spira is one of them, Juric/NTS are there just to add depth

Also when you arrive at the stadium and need to stop and read your card to figure out where the corresponding seat is, don't wait till after kickoff and don't stand directly in front of me while you're doing it, like every other person who can't figure out that seat 25 is probably between 24 and 26.

don't you mean go to your bay and find the best available standing location :)

I have an aisle seat and we call the step just in front of me the 'pause step' because nobody stands at the top of the stairs while they figure it out, they always come and stand on that bloody step. Half the time if I watch where they end up they're usually in the wrong bay but they still congregate on the pause step to work that out.

I wouldn't be surprised if my view tonight gets obscured by a lost Mariners sub trying to find the bench.

New member attending my (well, our) first ever match tomorrow. Few newbie questions - we've got our cards with seat details on, do we also need to print out physical tickets? How does the free public transport work, will the buses etc just need to see a membership card and let us on?

Flash your members card to the driver/ticket collector depending on what mode of transport you are using.

Argue with him or her that free transport is included.

Show them the bit that says its included on the card.

Enjoy the driver conceding defeat.

Scan the card at the right gate at the stadium, written on the card.

Find your seat.

Sing your heart out.

You are now part of the Wanderers family.

Welcome to Wanderland.

Rescan card because it wont scan

Hand card to security

Get waved through by security with your attendance not being counted again

A goal for Ruka would be great, you can see he is short on fitness and form and a goal for him would do wonders.

Can't wait to see Castelen tonight also.

I am expecting quite a fast paced game, can't see thing finishing 0-0 somehow (although I have prob cursed it now). Still early in the season but 3 points badly needed tonight, must go for it.

Is this the right thread to ask what's for dinner?

I thought the refs in Perth and Wellington were quite good. Sounds like we'll be back to normal this evening.

Not even I whinged about the refereeing at Perth and Wellington

I am sticking to my promise to NOT WHINGE ABOUT ANY REFEREEING THIS SEASON after our *ahem* fortunate ACL final.

Edit: even if it is Kris-effing-Knobface-effing-RoarLoving-effing-Jones

Nah **** that.

You just wipe the slate clean, and get the for and against tally up again.

Had a dream last night that Juric scored a free-kick for the socceroos to level it 2-2.

My brain must know its game day :)

We're so bad that even in your dreams we were losing. :woah:
