And the forecast isn't letting us down either. 29 wi chance of rain in the evening. Added bonus of 30km winds. Sweet

Would that "chance of rain" be a chance of a cyclone with battle axes falling out of the sky?

Is that footage from one of last season's home games??

Battle axes are for pussies. Need something more serious for Saturday.

I can't remember being more excited or keener for a WSW match than this one. I'm not sure why. I've been there since before match 1 S1. The past couple of weeks and the outcome and "return to normal" is an obvious factor but there's more to it than that. Thinking about it as I write, another factor is feeling less concerned about what the police might do.Hopefully those around me in bay 7 (and elsewhere) will be much more active than usual this year and the poznan will be back to its best participation rate right around the stadium.

COYW - Bring. It. On.

I'm there. I'll be the one in the red and black. Goes a bit nuts when we score and crushes the nearest of his kids. Loves it when the ref makes bad calls and has to self sensor.

Say gday :)

Row H. You?

Look for my WSF scarf

Row K. Best seats in the house. I'll keep an eye out for the scarf.

Yep, only work, births, deaths, marriages & Christmas parties are plausible excuses.

What about birthdays??

I can't believe I'm 99% chance I can't go.

Got a friend's birthday. All week 3 of us have been trying to work out if there's a way we can get to the game. So far we've come up with: ring in a bomb scare to the party venue (suburban terrorist option); get really drunk really quickly and get kicked out (hooligan option); go for the start of the party, sneak off and come back for the end and act as if we were there the whole time (guess this must be the grub option).

Worst part is that it was organised by the husband of the girl who's birthday it is, and he's an RBB member!! When he told us the date I said "bet this is a top of the table clash". Could never have imagined it'd be the return to the terrace round too! Arrrrrrrrrggggghhhhhhhh

Solution. Drink A LOT early in & you'll quickly make a fool of yourself. At which point, 1 or 2 of the WSW mates suggest they take you home. Sober up in the car on the way to Parra, driven by one of your WSW mates. Get to the game & watch us win.

You're welcome

Just man up and go to the game.

At the very least make sure someone else gets your tickets.

Rise and shine grubs! Get your hand off that morning boner and get the **** out of your cocoon.

Romeo to score a goal of the year contender late in the game to bring the house down and WSW all 3 points. Belisha and Finkler to see red.

Will there be more police at Parramatta or Cronulla today?

Well considering that they have a NSW Supreme Court order to not hold the memorial rally in Cronulla today but people will still turn up because the idiot factor in these people is very high. Then some other idiots will show up to provoke them into having a 10 year anniversary re-inactment ( sounds quite beautiful like a American civil war re-inactment)

More police will be at Pirtek Stadium

Yes nt , north terrace victory supporters all goin to royal oaks so yes sensible thing would be to avoid it wendy :)

Hahahahahahahaha.... yes!

I would be heading there at all.

But you'd better tell Dmix tho!

I have to say ...I love the NT.............. at a distance!  ;)

And yet at Parramatta tonight we will embrace every race and religion. The only colours we see are red and black.

It's all good. I've known the family who own The Royal Oak for over 15 years. I've spoken to them this morning. They know nothing at all of NT going to the Oak. NT haven't even contacted them (as far as *person* I spoke to this morning)....  :smurfnono:

I may or may not have directed them to their FB and Twitter feed which has advertised this fact....  :ninja:

At this very moment nothing has been confirmed.

As we speak there is a meeting being called with Royal Oak Management in regards to this and the NT itself. I'm awaiting a call for confirmation of their 'chat' any time soon, to see if we will be welcome for pre game dinner/drinks as usual. If you go by the sign above the front main bar "We sing for Wanderers". I think I know what the answer will be.   :cheeky:
