Lmao stat record. Haven't beaten Roar since 2021. Haven't beaten Roar away since 2019. This our bogey team no matter how bad they are.

We are the club other clubs love to face....especially if they have been out of form and in need of a shot of confidence....we are more than happy to bend over and comply

They don't have Tom Waddingham anymore so we have a small chance to win

Didn't they beat Sydney away without Waddingham?

We will win this. The Wanderers, like Kim Wilde's lover in the 80s song, just keep us hanging on.

Great song!! :xnod:

Working in Bris Vegas this week, after witnessing that pile of shite game a few weeks back, I am pontificating to go to the game or get on the homebound plane to Sydney, guess which 😶

Carl Robinson's last game was losing to Brisbane two weeks after losing to the Mariners.

The Mariners beat us 2 weeks ago.

And now we play Brisbane.

So this is Staj's last game.

Nah, Staj's piss poor performances mean we refuse to sign any new defenders. We then flounder around for the last 8 or 9 rounds, losing most games but punctuated by the odd blow out win away from home.

The club then refuses to make any management announcements, leaving Staj's stink fester at the club house until about August. Ray Gatt starts posting wild rumours about Wanderers signing some player coach who once lead the Sydney uni first grade team to 3 straight wins. We then get 2 more months of speculation and  12 Reddit threads about Jose Mourinho.

Then in early october news that Nathan Tinkler has had a massive win on the pokies at the Tollgate, hitting 14 features in row. As a result he's bought out the Wanderers and immediately appointed Gary Van Egmond to the coaching position. Hours later Bernie Ibini is signed on marquee wages and named captain for the 25/26 season.

...I'm ok, I promise

On another note, Wanderers win 3-1.

Apparently he's doing a great job and we would be mad for considering it.

Hmmmmm....depends.. if you have a wife, young kid and associated chores at home say you need to work back in Brissy for a few days...as it's busier than you thought...and go to the game...

I have pulled similar stunts on occasions...I mean...no point rushing back sometimes...is there...

Haha. Staj is Jeferson Cheng's pick. He is running the joint now not Lederer. Staj isn't leaving, until end of season at the earliest.

Oh absolutely..Staj is going nowhere this season. And am fully prepared for the off season 'we are building towards something' Staj spin.

We are always building towards something hahaha. And then like a toddler we smash it down before it gets anywhere.

I agree Staj isn’t going anywhere, although you would think that Lederer will be making some noise in the background to undermine Cheng and Staj given what played out last year

I don't think Lederer is in any position to give an 'i told you so' speech to be honest, what with his track record.

But you know...part of being a multi millionaire business owner is being a right arrogant chunt i reckon.
