    This is kinda dumb:

He only joined us 5 weeks ago, that would be 8kg a week which I don't think is even physically possible.

Glad I’m not the only one who noticed that. I thought I’d read it wrong lol

It's obvious he lost weight after leaving Adelaide. If he'd then lost 40kgs after joining  WSW he'd be a lot thinner now than he is.

It's absolute rubbish to say he's lost weight since joining the Wanderers.

He'd lost the weight before I saw him twice LAST season at games. In fact he may have put some weight back on since I saw him, when he was really skinny.  He was almost unrecognizable.

I probably saw him at the end of last year or early this year.

    Re Josep's weight loss...

In fact I talked to him about it...and he sort of made a joke about it, and said  it was all down to his wife's inspiration and supervision of his diet.

I looks like Gombau lost 40 kgs since he arrived in the country in 2013. To lose that kind of weight in four weeks, amputation of both legs would have been required.

BTW: are we going to play against Beath or Gillett this evening?

"We will work very hard to bring this win to our side and celebrate with our fans.”

And while Gombau has plenty of grand plans for Wanderers, his prediction for Saturday night’s showpiece clash is extremely simple: “we will win.”

Yeah, *****, that's how derbies are won. None of this pussy footing BS about "we are the underdogs" "we respect out opponent" etc.

    It's Smurf hunting season.

    COYW!

And to all those who "love" Arnie such much: rest assured that he will never get a job at WSW. The best he can do in Sydney is being a Smurf - the ultimate insult for a Westie.

Man man man. How is anyone supposed to win a game with this kind if mindset? In the absence of your wife: knock at your neighbour's door and ask him to give you a kick up your backside.

That’s what supporting a team that have been mostly shite since 1987 can do to a man

both games need one of these moments

No philosophies, processes endless playing across backline

needs to be Reid, back to Stevens, sharps in behind lawrenson (twat it) what a fantastic goal

Herd, Risdon, santalab in behind Wilkinson   Shoot *****

then I’ll celebrate like the geeky guy in the raincoat and glasses that runs across screen

This keeps getting better by the minute. Active Star Wars fans take note:

    • All patrons (adults and children) can dress up in Star Wars Costumes
    • All patrons must be able to remove all mask/head costume to show their face to gain entry into the venue
    • Active supporter area patrons will NOT be able to wear face coverings (including face painting) or head coverings (e.g. Helmets)
    • The entry of other costume items (e.g. replica weapons, equipment) will be subject to the discretion of Stadium management

    @Stringer

I don't want to know about your sentments about an obscure English side (I saw them win the Cup Winners Cup in 1985 in Rotterdam, accidentally standing with the Austrians).

Today is not the day to put in an application for a washer women's convention. It's derby day, Smurf hunting season.

    Pull yourself together!

Damn....Will they ban light sabres...?   It's Star Wars....without the wars bit....lol

I'm hoping someone turns up thinking it's the Star Wars food round and goes as Boba Fetta

Ok I’ll stop after this one https://youtu.be/UtZyEvdDhMU

my point wanderers related was we need to get the ball forward quicker especially if oriol plays. This passing along the back is driving me to madness (not that I had far to go)

on everton you have seen them one more thing than any evertoian born in the last 23 years has

I felt similarly about last season's second ANZ derby...and look how that ended up !!

True. Although we had lady luck on our side and a heroic performance by the snake to see it through.

We need to turn up and be ruthless. The rest of the season looks grim but we need to at least win a derby or two to salvage it.

Hi everyone, I've just got a request I hope someone can help with. I've had some out-of-town family come to Sydney and they're keen to come to the derby but I can only buy one extra ticket in the RBB with my membership. Is anyone able to lend me their pass number so I can use it to buy one more ticket? I know it's last-minute but I hope someone can help me out.

Interesting to see the interview with the big boss man. Acknowledges We have lost all homeground advantage with SOP, surely the logical next question is would we consider a move next year to the riff or Campbelltown (or a split of both) to try and regain it?

    I know the answer btw

There must be a contract in place but after Spotless wasn't able to make the ground available I'm sure a 'good' lawyer will find a way out

Not sure if this has been mentioned here but did anyone see that this TIFO design, from the RBB for today's match, which was submitted to the FFA for approval (it would have been the largest TIFO ever at an A-League game) was rejected for being offensive!!!! WTF!!!

FFA destroying active culture in this country once again.https://scontent.fadl1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t31.0-8/24831510_1204679826300433_8578829287466554525_o.jpg?oh=5949c8cacbc7740367a7290b91fbdfc0&oe=5AC57838

Arnold stirringly things up ore derby but he has a point. Not the best way to motivate your current back 4 by going shopping to buy the opposition back 4

whos clever idea was it to do that pre derby

It’s funny, at first I thought why would we want to leak any of this info out? How could this help us?

Then I saw the author   Arnie and his agent know how to play the mind games well  Pricks :acute:

Referee is Jonathan Barreiro for the derby.

The FFA are no longer listing the Assistant Referees, the 4th Officials or the Video Assistant Referees
