In .....but have to say that I'm not looking forward to it and it's not because we could lose.  I am really disappointed with the state the game is in here in Australia.

After 5 years of finding myself watching less and less EPL and more A-league, this last year things have reversed. I would say it's a combination of issues, FFA, VAR, WSW and grounds. Hopefully a win this weekend might put a few things right (at least for a day or two)

I can relate.

I remember going to those wet weekday games in Parra. We lost but I didn't feel deflated.

This season on the other hand. No appeal. FFA and SOP is a pile of ****.

Herd trained last week. No reason why he won't be in the squad on Saturday.

And with Sotirio probably injured, means Cejudo can go back to the wing where he belongs.

Then we might see Herd as the holding midfielder with Baccus Snr and Roly as the advanced MFs, Cejudo to left wing and Jumpei on the right. If Riera us out, Santa to ST with Scott on the bench. Bridge on the bench replacing Baccus Jnr. Majok to the bench as well as Lustica. Leaving Hall to fill the remaining bench spot.

Need a massive performance from the entire team to the fans in the stands Saturday.

Here we are, yet again finding ourselves as massive underdogs with our backs against the wall.

Hopefully last weeks insipid performance will galvanise the team.

Need a huge effort this week to keep the masses at bay too. We haven’t lost three in a row since season 3. We put on another performance like last week and it’s gonna get ugly.

2-1 win, with Gombau getting his first win completely against the odds.

Would happily take 0-0 but can’t see anything but an esfc win here unless we turn up with fire in the belly

its a blessing that we only have jumpei not sotorio

gombau needs more attacking options on bench Taurus/Mack is this tokich kid any closer under gombau

even Scott last week bench was only Santa who was attacker

Sad to say that this is the least excited I've ever been before a derby.

I'll be there and I'll be rocking come game day, but I'll have the feeling that it's just another match. There's been no talk about pax or anything!!!!

That says it all, considering last year all the excitement was about a 60 000 crowd.

Will we even get 35000 this weekend? I have my doubts.

Does anyone want to help Gombau out with what our line-up should be. Assuming Riera and Sotirio are out.  Here's a good start.

If the players turn up with fire in the belly I'd expect them to be carded out of the game due to imbalanced refereeing.

Santalab

Jumpei-Roly-Cejudo

Herd-Baccs

Lorrente-Thwaite-Corn/Hamill-Risdon

Snake

Bridge for Jumpei, Bridge can score and he can cross, Jumpei can run fast he’s basically a slightly more exotic and interesting sotirio

Just wandering....?

will the RBB , be selling any G. Arnold merchandise pre game .....?

i missed out last time ........!

lets not forget ( as someone has already mentioned) gombau took over Adelaide,  a couple of years ago , from wooden spooners to losing there first 6 matches in a row and beating us in the GF .......!

we will start gelling together after January ( f&@k I hope so ) .

I have a bad feeling VAR will decide this game .

Does anyone know if special event buses will be in service up and down Windsor Road to Olympic Park?

It usually only happens when they are expecting a big crowd (over 50-60k). Unlikely at this stage, but I'd check Transport NSW closer to Saturday.
