Will be a tough game, 3rd week in a row playing a top 2 side. City have been very good when defending in a low block with bodies behind the ball but both Brisbane and Victory caught them out a bunch on the break. They're averaging 55% possession for this season but basically doing absolutely nothing with it

Theres no clear cut prolific goal scorer for them this season with 4 players on 4 goals. Definitely feels like we have made a lot of headway defensively.

Definitely capable of snagging a win. 2-0 dub

Errmmmm...so I am gonna be in a place called White Cliffs outback NSW..Do you reckon the miners and hard outback dudes will mind if I take over the pub TV and put our game on like?...

Can't see any issues with that?*...

Should be entertaining...should be goals.....Staj has us believing in ourselves and playing with pace and freedom. We are always the chance of giving away a stupid goal or two...but we have plenty in us...nothing to fear here...go out and get at them!

We are definitely scoring.... I just don't if we are winning or drawing. But yet another big game for the boys to get up for.

Great place to visit. The underground motel is fascinating, but no internet, phone coverage... when we were there a few years ago. So the pub might be there only option, and yes perhaps send your wife in to set it up...

at least we will be going into the Finals battle hardened with some big games - i think we continue this week and make it unbeaten in 10

i think we will drop a game before the regular season - which is not the end of the world - i think that will give the boys abit of humility and increase that hunger to perform

last regular home game for the year, i think we host a final at least, crowds coming back, its a great time to be a WSW fan and this ride is just getting more fun.

we got 13k against Western, i really hope we get 15k plus this weekend - if we do, we'll get 3 points Saturday night :)  - the crowd is really getting this team going now and its fantastic !

Cows final game will be like a home game and anticipate decent turn out for once. I will be there for sure.

Auckland, WU and then City is a bloody hard run of games actually. Not many get stuff from Auckland away and WU had a stunning away record...now City...

    Doing well!

If we can get something from this game i fancy us to finish it off against Jets and Cows.

And if we do that, we would be the team to be beat in the final, no one would fancy it against us, not sure how I’d handle it with us not being the underdogs

oh and they might let you hold the bunny ears for the NRL game 🤣

Currently, Heartle$$ are slightly favourites according to certain agencies that i never use.

We got Kersey as referee and Evans as VAR.

If we win this weekend we'll absolutely deserve it, because history suggests we aren't getting any favours.

    As opposed to which referee?

They are all pretty much the same

I looked at the numbers after the Rudan "stigma" game. Posted it here in the Refereeing Thread.

Kersey was a massive statistical outlier for us. After that game he'd reffed us for 1 win, 0 draws, 9 losses.

Adam Kersey hasn't been the centre referee since the game where Germain kicked Beadling in his lower parts with no sanction given to Germain. Beadling then got Germain from behind and was sent off. Can't remember who the VAR was that day

I have watched Kersey and his positioning is sh!te for a central referee at a supposedly high level.

Still think the problem in that game was they played idiotic football not the referee

But we played idiotic football for years. Kersey is the outlier, not idiotic football.

Fair point although we have finished outside of the finals in all but one season so losing is hardly an outlier

Rudan made a massive conspiracy theory out of that game and we largely bought into it. Whereas Kersey had nothing to do with our fullbacks being too high and making drew and co look like 1972 Brazil

If I recall correctly, we've had Kersey as the ref for one game this season. I think we won it.

Pretty sure the VAR was Alex King.

Was that also the game where the lack of goal line technology cost us a goal? If, so I'm sure it was one of the female refs.

Lara Lee was the assistant VAR. Kersey was the centre ref & King was the main VAR. Not sure which of the linesman awarded the non-goal that was the Macarthur winner but they were Andrew Lindsay & Hugh Fenton-White.

I could imagine Rudan thinking everything is a conspiracy tbh.

Well Macarthur did have a goal awarded when the ball bounced off the post and back out. And that was following a series of other poor decisions. If it wasn't a conspiracy then I don't know what was.

Leckie did his hammy again. How crap is it that his career is just ending with all these random injuries. Such a great player and his body is just failing him.

    Souprayen is also out
