Looking forward to watching my first Wanderers home game (0830 my time) after loving watching last weeks derby.

I've started an A League thread on Celtic's number one forum, Kerrydale Street, telling the guys how impressive your fans were last week.

I'll get the thread back to the top an hour or two before kick off to try and encourage as many Celtic fans as possible to tune in.

Come on the hoops (green & white and black & red).

The A-League is getting very technical.  We are in to time traveling now Mack.

First weekday match of the year. Feels weird

Agree. Woke up at 4am too excited to sleep then realised there is the small matter of work in between so unfair! Just wanna watch the boys play!

Not excited yet since I have an exam and assesment to get through before the end,

Any news on hersi?

From what I have heard won't be playing

Going to be a struggle to make kick off - Surely 7.45 would be a better kick off time for Friday nights? On a side note Adelaide are paying 7 bucks to win - Thats crazy generous dont you think??

We gonna lose the wing attack as hersi is out. it will be tight though as adelaide are playing attacking football.

Is that 65 dollars for a family of four? Less than £40 (if I've got the exchange rate right).

That's great value. I pay nearly £500 a year for my season ticket at Celtic (19 games).

I believe its only $40 a family of 4 if you go GA or restricted view...

Wanderers to pump Adelaide 4-0. Calamitous Adelaide defending to play Bridge back into form. Foster to mention Barca at least once on the telecast.

Crazy, especially as I know a few people who bought in the restricted view area a few days back thinking that would be their only chance and a few others who bought tickets away from other people thinking they couldn't get enough seats together.

Why do I get the feeling there is going to be around 13,000 - 15,000 there tonight.

Great article at Leopold Method about the game, a lot of success was had by isolating and outnumbering Zullo (LB) who, after conceding the early goal, man-marked Fitzgerald - which was exploited by Duke and Roux.

Zullo has been unimpressive this season. I suspect he will get dropped when Cassio comes back.

Game wise, does anyone fear that Adelaide might have a few tricks up their sleeve? With Tarek El Rich joining them this year, he had a whole season under Popa and would know our stratergies quite well.  For this reason, I'm not expecting an easy match. Tarek has been playing very well for Adelaide as well. Approach with caution!

Perhaps with us signing Juric, this works both ways.

No matches are easy, look at Wellingtons game. Any team coming up against the Wanderers this season is going to lift that extra more because that's how it is when you play the reigning champions. You got to respect all the teams but not fear them. Tarek has been doing really well and I hope he gets a warm reception he deserves come Friday night. We go out and play our own game and let them worry about us is our way if you watch Popas interviews. I think our man Shinji is going to be tightly marked to lock him out of the game but when a player has magic like Shinji does it's a bit hard to do that for the full 90 mins this is where Bridge and Juric need to step up.

We have depth; a desire for success; mooy is back shinji is on fire. And as far as Tarek enrich is concerned, you can't steal or pass on a hard working culture to another club. Everyone knows our secret to success but no one can emulate it. Its what got us here in the first place. A club is more than a player or an idea it the people, desire and passion that is something special at the wanderers. Slowly we are gelling even better than last year and with more depth. Santalab has a brilliant style of play with an eye for goal and I'm sore a goal isn't far away for him. Go wanderers, win or lose we will always follow you!

looking forward to tonight should be a good game - i kinda get the feeling that Adelaide are about to give some one a belting and hoping its next week and not tonight.

Will spira be on the bench tonight and will he get some game time?. Looking at last weeks game he must be wondering if he made the rite decision if he doesnt get good game time soon
