two observations....

Juric is too injury prone... could be a career killer.

Is Popa too nice, humble, respectful, reasonable and logical to be a top level manager? The best usually have a bit more mongrel in them... bordering on the (or completely) nasty, arrogant, disrespectful, unreasonable and irrational.

Have to disagree. Not only has he won more in his first three years than most managers win in a lifetime, he's rightly regarded as a hard taskmaster who doesn't take any sh-t from players, staff or anyone else.

Yeah look from regular first hand experience I can say that Popa is the scariest **** you'll ever meet. When he arrives at training EVERYONE switches on and if he says jump, you say how high.

In today's world (and probably even yesterday's) being a top manager isn't just about what goes on behind closed doors. The best are also constantly "playing" the outside world... the media, the public, the opposition, football authorities... via the media. Refer to the masters of that particular art.... Ferguson, Mourinho, Clough, Shankly, Stein.

So because he's not: nasty, arrogant, disrespectful, unreasonable and irrational, as you said, he needs to change? The humility that Popa has while still being able to command respect from all who work under him is what has made he and this club so successful. I really don't think that Popa becoming an ass hole is the answer to our problems...

So what's the feeling on how we are going to lose this one?

I 'll take a punt on a misplaced back pass to the keeper that gets stuck in the mud and slammed home by the Roar.

We will lose 3 nil to a less tired and more experienced side and one Jerome Polenz will give us a lesson on why he should still be wearing red and black.  :crap:

Ruka gets the ball to feet , just over halfway. Easily beats his defender on the outside for speed before nutmegging the next guy , cutting infield , afterburners on full bore , sets his sight on the goal. Lines up the shot on his preferred left , big back swing BAM!!!!

sweetest shot his ever struck........straight into his right heel , cos the ball was stuck inbetween his feet , it shoots off in the opposite direction skimming off the wet surface past Covic , goal. 1-0 see ya later!!!!! :P

I'm excited about tonight's game.

**** know's why. I just am.

Even though we're **** at the moment, I just can't get enough Wanderers.

I'm gonna hate seasons end.

^^^ This, I wish all supporters of our club felt this. I know most all that are left here do.  :golecapproves:

Roar Lineup: Polenz, Stefanutto , Sarota, Lustica, Kaluderovic, Clut, Brattan, Hingert, Young (gk), Petratos, Borrello

That ain't really a youth team at all. Just a couple of younger guys

Our Lineup: Covic (gk), Tanaka, Topor-Stanley, Golec, Haliti, Takahagi, Rukavytsya, Bulut, Castalen, La Rocca, Aspropotamitis

So

Covic

Tanaka-Aspro-Topor-Golec

La Rocca-Takahagi

Castelan-Haliti-Ruka

Bulut

Castelan might play CAM with Haliti on the wing instead, though.

About as good a lineup as can be expected.
