Hersi better not have a cracking game ala 2 seasons ago. Bet he does.

He might start on the bench. He's played 2 games in 3 days and is looking pretty average so far this season. I'm not sure whether the body could take 3 games in a week.

If true, that's a lot of quality missing. I understand it though, we need to be winning our two home games we have just days after this clash, which means as close to full strength as possible needed for our Parra matches.

I'd suggest we sit back ala our ACL campaign.

Wouldn't have any other option with the back 7 we'd take the pitch with.

Would take a week to transistion from defence to attack & very little chance of any overlapping runs from our fullbacks.

I believe Hersi picked up a knock on Tuesday night.

Doubt he starts on Saturday.

I have changed my mind if it is true those above will be missing lol There would be no pace, transition and little impact up front.

Would accept  a 0 - 0 draw

Quote from sbs:

"I don't really care. He's was part of this team last year but he's gone now," Bridge said.

You reckon slightly out of context or bridge is just telling it like it is?

ps. he was talking about hersi obviously

I am pumped to see Alessi play CB if this eventuates. That is his natural role & this game could be huge in his development. What better person to have around than Popa to help guide him.

I don't care about risking 3 points to play him there. This is big picture stuff.

Is this a suicide mission? If we field that back four I'll be going into a foetal position! The rest of it isn't exactly inspirational either.  If the rumours are true (the players not travelling) and we bring back a point, Popa can rightly be confirmed a genius!

Our back 4 is worrying without veteran presence in Spira and NTS.... Let's hope we do not concede 4 goals like the Victory game.

I was wondering if La Rocca might slot into a CB role a la the grand final last season, with Cole up in Castelen's pozzie, and Mullen, Hamill and Golec being the other backs. On the other hand can Ruka go in as the right attacking midfielder, Bridge up front and Labi in LAM? That then gives Cole the option to be used either in a left or right back role.

Hersi will have a lot to prove to all those that weren't disappointed that we let him go and especially Popa & staff who decided not to fill his large wage demands. He will be out on a mission to prove him wrong, bit like how Popa used Al Hilal's coaches words to rev up the team, I can see Kenny lowe giving him his own pep talk to Hersi to go out there firing on all cylinders!!

I really hope you've got you're sources wrong on this Chubba, not saying that I don't trust Popa with his lineup but hoping that he would go over to Perth & really put out a strong lineup!! Can't understand why Yianni didn't travel though?

How certain are you of this?
