Sometimes that kind of injury can prevent them from reaching their previous heights. Scicluna was good before his injury, but I think Priestman has raised his game so much since then that I would have him above Scicluna in the pecking order. Need to pair either of them with a hard-nosed defensive midfielder - Brilliante or equivalent - who can drop into the last line of defence when needed. SOS4WSW, sonar, dodson and 1 other 4
Westiesarebesties Posted yesterday at 01:41 AM Posted yesterday at 01:41 AM I feel like while Priestman has raised his game, Scicluna was much more forward driven in his play. StringerBellend 1
Sithslayer1991 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Ideally you would have both Priestmann and Scicluna. Be very similar to Victory's Teague and Valadon combo sonar, matty and StringerBellend 3

It took me long enough to get used to Brillante. The transition of Ninkovic was helped by the Smurfs collective dummy spit, Gersbach as a south coastie is easy to digest, the Hoff Zapsford Simmons didn’t have first team history. But Grant and Caceres are just about the last players I want to see at wsw. We had Rudan for 2.5 seasons, we’ve suffered enough. No more Smurfs! StringerBellend, MathyouWSW, EmMac and 2 others 4 1

MathyouWSW Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago There's only one Smurf I would have...and they aren't even in the senior squad. Alen Harbas. He captains the Academy squad now. However, two seasons ago, he was an absolute menace against the Wanderers NPL squad in one game. Herbas was constantly trying to score and Lawrence Caruso probably played one of his best games for the Wanderers. There was rumours him alongside Priestman were going to join the club. Well, we all the outcome of that. He went on loan last season to Finnish club FC KTP (same one Mitch Glasson is currently at) and did OK in my opinion 13 goals in 41 games. He's back at Sydney FC now and it seems they have shifted him to from striker to Left Winger for this season. Another player I'm keeping an eye on from their academy is Mathias MacAllister, he's the son of ex A-League player Dylan MacAllister. He's a decent striker as well.
WanderingToquii Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago If rumours of Ugarkovic coming to the Wanderers are true, then you may see Ugarkovic and Priestman in the middle, maybe with Kraev as playmaker further up.
GE942150 Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago (edited) This Dutch news article reckons that Younis is returning to us at the end of his loan. "Marcus Younis vertrekt na dit seizoen bij PSV" translates to "Marcus Younis will leave PSV after this season." https://www.ed.nl/psv/bezem-gaat-door-de-selectie-van-jong-psv-er-komt-een-behoorlijke-leegloop-aan~add62130/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=socialsharing_web&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fl.instagram.com%2F Edited 15 hours ago by GE942150 andypk and dodson 2

immortalshogun Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago PSV fans seem to be upset he’s coming back to us. He’s a ready made Milanovic replacement and with the way we’ve been playing he’s gonna light up the league Sithslayer1991 and sonar 2

Could be returning to us as we have an offer from a smaller dutch club thats seen him play, or he's returning to fill Milanovic's spot. If thats the case I have to assume that Segacic isn't coming our way at all. Obligatory grainy youtube video with terrible music

Upthehill Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago 7 hours ago, THEWANDERERSPOST said: Is this a prediction or is there substance to it? Prediction sorry. Promoted Eredivise clubs constantly raid the Jong squads of Ajax, PSV and Feyenord. They're also raided by Belgian, Austrian and small german clubs.
Sithslayer1991 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago The news on socials is PSV is dumping out a lot of the youth squad this season. Fabs not happy they let Younis go. Loan watcg his numbers are better than when Segicic went to Dutch 2nd division. I have no sources except "trust me bro" but i have feeling a few European clubs may try to get him during the transfer window, because of how young he is, how he performed and the fact he only has 1 year left on his contract. So no Guarantees yet if he makes it with us to next season

Interestingly though, I’ve seen some comments on twitter from PSV fans saying he was being used as a right back at some stage? Odd choice if true
