122 v 212 passes completed. I don’t usually get excited by stats but that’s pretty decent.

Roly has been a different player this season. More like we were expecting last season but didn’t really see it.

He is really up for it today. Really wants a goal against his old team

If only we were clinical like the smurfs

We getting there. At the start of their run they were being kept in many games by Vukovic, then when they got confident they starting banging them in all the time.

I feel confused...what can I have a moan about?

Very good performance, we totally controlled that game. And how good did that 3rd goal feel....from open flowing play and some great passing and great finish also.

I was looking forward to Mudgee anyway but even more so now! Going to be an epic road trip! :)

Oh man, that goal attempt from Sotirio, definitely showing his true skills that he belongs in NPL 2.

    • No transfer fees is a massive amount of income some clubs (and NPL clubs) can earn. Teams like CCM can focus on development with their COE and gain income from selling off their players to other HAL teams.   But 10 teams is too small. We need 2 tiers of 16 minimum so there are more places and opportunities to play and sell/buy from. Most of the recycled HAL players will end up in A2 (as you see overseas) where the A1 start buying better players to remain in A1 and fight for the prize money of winning and the broadcast money of A1 (and ACL). Increasing salary cap isnt the sole answer. It just means the PFA will argue for a new CBA and everyone that is currently a mediocre HAL player just gets paid more.   But because there is no real competition or consequence, it means the same recycled players "with A-League experience" and lack of real intensity in training.
    • He looks scary.  I can picture him wearing a cape and playing a church organ or something.
    • Same. the clickbait headlines act as if we released him or cast him off. He was an injury replacement ffs
