Jersey for loudly bored from the ground after City game. Also didn't see WSW players or staff go up and shake his hand. Either he will take this on board in a positive, self-awareness kind of way (I and a dreamer) out will be antagonistic. Either way he wasn't good that night. Inconsistent and strange calls.

I think we all know how it’s going to play out….

Get one of the players to "accidently" run into him and knock him out cold.

That wouldn't improve his decision making. (Or make it any worse)

If you look at all the seasons since Popa left and exclude the Rudan season where we made the finals (i.e. all the seasons when we were crap), we played 159 league games averaging 1.19 points per game.

Under Kersey we average 0.58 points per game, so less than half of what we got when we couldn't make finals.

I think having him commit football terrorism on the City game actually helps us. Everyone had a yell, picked up a few yellows after the game, but that was it. Milanovic and Staj both gave sensible interviews after the game and didn't blame the referee. No stigma speech or victim complex.

Now we can go into this game knowing we aren't going to get a single decision our way and we have to win in spite of that.

Hopefully Staj will drill into the players to keep calm on the pitch irrespective of refereeing decisions. The players seem to be tuned right into the vibe of the crowd at the moment. The vibe from the crowd will be negative this Saturday with every 50/50 call that goes against us. If the team absorbs that and starts getting frustrated with the ref we are toast.

But it would remove him from the field...which would be the objective.

It will be closer than the game a month or so back i reckon. I'm going 1 - 1 at FT... 2 - 1 us AET.

How many penna shoot outs have we participated in...not many..probably a few in the Australia Cup in guess.

    We've had four shootouts:

    • Lost 5-4 against ES Setif in the Club World Cup
    • Lost 4-2 against Perth in an FFA Cup quarter final in 2015
    • Lost 6-5 against Brisbane in the finals in 2017.
    • Won 4-2 against Blacktown City in an FFA Cup quarter final in 2017

Hmmm....maybe shite at the back but plenty of matchwinners. Let's face it there were elements of luck in our 2 results against them and we're going to need that luck again tomorrow night.

If Arzani decides to turn up for this game we could be on the defensive again. Remember we were under the pump until Diles decided to take him off and changed the midfield.

It'll be 2 nil or 3 nil to us.

Our back line will be impenetrable.  That's where the game will be won.

    We've got this.

We're on our way to the toilet seat this year.

Oh man… it will be lots of..”hey you’re in my seats mate”  I am in the GA behind RBB also and tbh I just booked the seats where I always sit anyway and usually there early enough….

I followed up with the club re seat allocation in the usual "GA" sections behind the RBB..see response below

"Unfortunately, as the APL run all ticketing and operations for the finals series, they have decided to allocate these seats. We provided our feedback to the APL throughout the finals ticketing build and made them aware of what sections are typically classed as general admission. The APL have made this decision on what they believe to be best for their finals series.

We as the club aren’t involved in any capacity apart from organising the codes to be created, the APL look after all communication and emails for the finals series to all club members."

Obviously the APL Know best , despite what looks like some input from the club !!!!

So anyone got a Pax update? Have to say I reckon crowd might end up being closer to only 15k based on a quick check on Ticketek. Loads of seats available and seemingly very few away fan seats sold which is a shame. Also colder crappier weather will affect walkup on the night.

Mind you will still be ten times WU crowd lol:xnod:

Are we now like Real Madrid who had nothing better to do than publicly throw a ref on the BBQ? Ever since Babbel was red carded and went to war against the refs it is very clear who will have the upper hand. Besides, its hard to think of a more thankless appointment than being an AL ref.

Langerak injured and Hamill fit to play seems far more important.

According to the Victory podcast I just listened to, their away allocation is sold out. What a waste of time that was btw, do not recommend.

For finals games or games with important significance, you need a strong ref who is able to control the game, can make the correct decisions for yellow cards, red cards, Penalties etc, not make the center attention of themself and not dictate the outcome of the game like Kersey has done a few times when he has reffed us.

And I think both us and Victory would have preferred someone like Faghani to ref us instead of Kersey, he will somehow turn this game upside down and make it all about himself, either us or Victory are going to be royally ****ed by him tomorrow night

The bays above the usual away section, appear to be sold out  (Bays 200-204).

Most of those won't even be on sale down that end...even the bays open for booking down that end will be mostly empty.

That doesn't mean it won't be a decent crowd though.

Weren't the Smurf fans in that area for our one and only finals appearance at Commbank?
