Back on topic, it’s gameday. Let the tedium of a day at work before a game begin.

I don’t really have anything against the jets TBH and I’ve got plenty of respect for how Merrick has turned them around this season. but **** them.

Welcome to fortress spotless mofos. (Ok, that was probably a bit much)

is it kick off yet?

That Peter Green is probably the worst of the bunch, I admire referees normally, only human, some one got to do it or wont have a game, but for me he is below standard sorry.

earlier in thread did he do home game v Roar 0-2 loss a few weeks back, the ref that day butchered the match, they were allowed to kick **** out of Roly all game long and the tosspot booked Roly for naff all!

I am happy with a draw the Jets are just on fire at the moment. Hoping Ikonomidis backs up last weekend performance if we are to get the win I think he may be key for us

In..... don't know what to expect. The Jets have been good and pleasant to watch. We had good and really bad moments...so it could go either way.

Hold on to your hats. Gombau didn't say "We will win" but "We need to win". This could get ugly :-)

---

"For sure, it should be (about revenge)," said Gombau. "We spoke with the boys and we need to have this inside us to try to play a good game, win the game and bring this to our fans that travelled to Newcastle and felt the big loss. [...]  "We need to win and have three more points that will help us get a good position on the table."

So was it an offside or not....from here it looked legit.

They showed another angle on the TV about 10 mins later and was the view the VAR was looking at.....it might have been JUST offside but was very ******* close......still bullshite.

Who knows.

They had two camera angles, neither of which were side on. So any footage was impacted by parallax error. Hence why the first view from the right of the players he looked clearly onside. And why their second zoomed in angle (found 5 minutes later) looked marginally offside.
