Something to do with the colours of barca being based on fc basels colours. Basel has the half and half kit, and barca the stripes. For that season, which commemorated something, both teams swapped templates. Basel wore stripes and barca wore the half and half. The other time i remember barca wearing half and half was for their centenary. That kit was half and half because it may have been a retro version of their original kit which was a copy of basels Their logos are also really similar Link to comment
