Tranquilo
sounds good, hopefully the weather stays calm, not a fan of driving when it pisses down rain, only chanting in the rain is my thang Link to comment
dmixtaaa
You guys think the Police are just randomly deciding to facial scan people? Do your ID's get scanned at the same time? It's happening everywhere. I just heard on radio this weekend most troublesome pubs and clubs in the city/Cross will be starting ID scanning. A lot of places have been doing it since the Bali bombings. It will be as common as a Del Piero shirt in the Cove soon. I suppose it will be easier to identify the bodies when a club/pub blows up. Hughesy
Ha media know nothing. I got to the cross all the time and have my license scanned everywhere, this is nothing new, most big clubs have been doing it for ages Link to comment
102megan
Licence scanning I don't have a problem with - it's practically the same as signing into a club, without having to handwrite anything! Facial scanning on the other hand, kinda freaks me out though. Link to comment
Hughesy
Lol everyone relax. They use a webcam, it struggles to even get a clear photo. We're not in a James Bond movie Link to comment

mack
The police force taking full identification along with high resolution scans of people who have not committed or are even suspected of crime, for secret police databases with no oversight or time limit is not even remotely similar to someone putting their own pictures on the internet under their own control. WhoDoWeSingFor
which pic do you speak of? There was a pic after the Penrith trial that showed the glassed off room from where the police were controlling everything. I don't remember if it was on these forums, a newspaper, one of Eric's or where it was from. Edited November 19, 2013 by WhoDoWeSingFor Link to comment

CMontgomeryBurns
I don't care about them trying to make money. They're a business, that's their objective. But this is supposed to be our home pub. It's a matter of principle. You shouldn't have to pay to get into your home pub on matchday, whether before or after the game. Link to comment

I'm not 100% sure on this but I thought one of the agreements about going to the Roxy was that the Wanderers fans wouldn't have to pay for entry after the game. Link to comment
Themumf
Yep, will be giving it a miss in future. Paying to get into a pub is bad enough, but one that we pretty much saved from going bust..., well, yeah. Ripping us off is not ok. They can stick their 10 bucks in future. Link to comment

Yes, I believe I have read this earlier somewhere. I don't go to The Roxy anyways, so no skin off my nose. Link to comment
JamCal
If you get there within an hour or so they don't charge you. Fact is as I was leaving at 11:30 I saw Wanderers fans that looked awfully like TheMumf arriving. You can't expect to get in for free 2 hours after the game.... Plain and Simple. I've never been charged entry and I'm there every week. Link to comment
