There is a stench what is smells for me is Arnie gives Talay a job when the writing was on the wall for Corica and Corica gets the flick and waiting in the wings is Talay his salary was paid for with our money what a joke , it will be confirmed if Talay is replaced by Arnie maybe he will give Corica the job but I doubt I think it was always a job to help Sydney FC

Watching that game last night, I could not help but think that the Smurfs look like a shadow of their former self.

Then I did a bit of "research" (formerly know as "Google searches"). When we beat them at the arnie-gate game at ANZ in Feb 2017, they had a starting 11 of Vukovic, Grant, Buijs, Wilko, Zullo, O'Neill, Brilliante, Ninkovic, Brosque, Holosko, Bobo. Ibini and Simon came on as subs. Carney and Dimitrijevic stayed on the bench.

All of that under the cap, apparently - how about that for a laugh? No wonder they were almost untouchable.

Things look very different when they have to abide by the cap rules: they are forced to play youngsters like everyone else.

From Wikipedia, you look at the A-league teams 8 years ago they are all quiet strong aside from Mariners.

Arnold and Ange both have a set system and players recruited based on how best they fit their systems. Have to remember how poorly managed we were by comparison just buying players and the coach thinking this was like Europe when its not.
