I understand that ABC sporting coverage is Melbourne oriented.

The Vic vs MU game got covered.

Our game didnt get a mention on Offsiders just then.

Less said the better, I guess, but... but.

First rule of watching sports tv in this country...don't watch 'Offsiders'.

Second rule of watching sports tv in this country...don't watch 'Offsiders'.

Third rule of watching sports tv in this country...don't watch 'Offsiders'.

And just in case you're uncertain..

Fouth to 150th rule of watching sports tv in this country...don't watch 'Offsiders'.

Lol...it comes on straight after Insiders, which I do like to watch....(was a cracking show this morning btw).

I like the intro music, so leave it on (would make decent football walkout music....not as good as something you could sing to, but I like it).

And it's follwed by a show I like...the weekly review of the news.

So,  even though I never sit and watch it, it's often on in the background, if I'm just pottering around inside on a Sun morning.

I tune in if they talk about something of interest, eg the A League, and tokenistic horse welfare  discussion atm.

:pardon:

Good ole A-League refs and VAR.

Yep.

The thing that shits  me about that decision (which was wrong) is that if the on field referee had awarded a no penalty, the decision would have been upheld by the VAR, as it also would have been decided it was not a clear and obvious error.

Referee Iran got it right last week by not awarding the penalty and letting the VAR decide. This should have happened in this case, instead of the "A-League" ref making a wrong decision firstly, and leaving the VAR the ambiguous choice of whether to overturn it.

There's nothing wrong with the technology. It's the ******* muppets who make the decisions that are the problem.
