  • Wanderers 2014/15 Membership Renewal Launches Friday 18th

    mack

The Western Sydney Wanderers will launch the 2014/15 Membership campaign on Friday the 18th of July.

Update: Membership Portal has launched via wanderland.com.au

The club announced the launch on Friday the 11th, including numerous changes and upgrades from last season. A link to the Wanderers news page is here. The new changes and upgrades include:

    • A loyalty initiative for renewing members that includes reduced membership costs as well as memorabilia for foundation members.
    • The introduction of a new payment option, where in addition to typical upfront payment, the new option for payment in monthly instalments over 10 months.
    • The introduction of a seat resale program to enable members who cannot attend matches to forgo their access to a match so their ticket can be on-sold, with rewards for those members who give up their seat.
    • A new online membership portal that includes the ability to forward a membership to selected people, a membership selector and online interaction with the membership team.
    • A new Junior Supporter membership package that includes various pieces of merchandise.
    • The final major development is that after a large volume of complaints about members not being able to pick-up their membership packs last season, this season they will be sent through the post.

Prices for this season are increased over the first two seasons. Foundation members have a slight rise in non-Red & Black sections, with family memberships costs also increasing. The cost increase for a Red & Black membership is higher in comparison to the other sections of the ground. New members in all sections are higher again compared to renewal costs for foundation memberships.

    • Red Memberships increase from $312 to $320 for foundation members and $335 for new members.
    • Black Memberships increase from $240 to $250 for foundation members and $285 for new members.
    • The White as well as the White & Black memberships increase from $195 to $200 for foundation members and $215 for new members.
    • Red & Black Memberships increase from $195 to $220 for foundation members and $235 for new members.
    • Supporter & Out of Towner memberships are unchanged.

A full size table of the pricing is available at this link.

Renewal will be open for 1 month from Friday the 18th of July through to the membership renewal deadline on Sunday the 17th of August. Supporter memberships will also be on sale from Friday and supporter members will be placed onto the ticketed membership waiting list while also getting access to the usual Football Family benefits.

Despite this forum being a welcome place to discuss memberships in 2014/15, specific enquiries should be directed to the club membership team through the club membership email address which is:

    • memberships@wswanderersfc.com.au

I look forward to renewing my membership on Friday and am sure that the club will eclipse the 16,900+ members from last season.

Did you wait for 3 weeks for it mickisnot? And do Australia Post deliver the memberships or another company?

    Got it today.

Didn't look. I just burst it open by smashing it with my hands. S-hit flew all over the place. It was awesome.

Thoughts on the member card (ticket)? Compared to first season and last season it's thinner. I like to carry it in my wallet all the time, not sure it is going to be durable enough to last the season.

And yes I got my pack today! Scarf is nice, hat is horrible, and I will put the Amart sport voucher to good use, just wish it didn't expire on the 30th

It is taking forever for the membership pack and pass to arrive.

I have not received any email from the club that my membership card and pack is on its way.

I am getting this feeling they take your money and provide no after sale customer service.

Never fear dude, your membership pack is coming but you won't know the exact timeframe unless you receive an email from the club stating that it's on it's way. My email was sent three weeks ago and others have received an email this week, looks like you're going to have to wait for a while!! Not saying it's good enough, just the reality of things, when did you renew by the way? Roughly what was the level of members when you signed?

It's a pathetic reality, to be brutally honest. I for one renewed over 3 months ago... I didn't think there was a reason to renew on day one, but it looks like I was mistaken.

Someone deserves the sack for this, I quite seriously believe. Round 3 and no card, no matter the ACL scheduling, is unacceptable.

The club sent some members packs that were a trial run some time ago but most are still waiting. Depending on where you sit pack contents differ. The capos are handing out RBB scarves to all in the NT....Don't fret though. All will be sorted before our first home game...unless that be tomorrow....

Renewed on first day, was upgraded to ticketed on the first day of upgrades, got an email over three weeks ago that my pack had been dispatched, still nothing.

I have sent emails to membership and never get a reply. It is a really poor effort.

They said you should start receiving as of this week, which people have been receiving but I'd be more worried if you hadn't recieved the email yet, those people are in for an almighty wait!

To you guys, did you receive an order confirmation e-mail like I did? Is that the e-mail saying it is on the way or another one since I haven't got anything about it.

i must admit i put the card in my pocket and sat down, now its very bendy, stupid move but ah well i tried to flatten it out somewhat but it does seem less durable, i am still waiting for a membership and it is very frustrating but that is life, i know the next membership i wont bend the card :P

Since the Wanderers have a pop up store in Westfield North Rocks they should of given the option to members to pickup their membership card and membership pack from the store. I think some members would of taken up the store pickup option if it meant getting their membership card and pack quicker.

It looks like alot of people like myself will not get their membership card and pack before the first home game.

This reflects badly on the club. All members should of got their membership packs at least 1 week before the season started.

Sounds like a great idea, especially as the store is just down the road from me. :)

Handy for those living in the hills area but still not many people would be able to visit the pop up store during business hours so probably better idea to ship them directly to people!

:nono: No knock and possibility someone could snatch people's memberships! The club should have told them Australia Post since it is the easiest way to deliver.  :nono:
