Wonder who was on the teamsheet for both teams

They are coming out with a report on it tonight.

The Sydney starting eleven was: Redmanyne (only one i'm unsure of), Van Der Saag, Wilkinson, Warland, King, Retre, Burgess, Brattan, Kosta, Bobo and Elvis.

From what I could see, Macarthur had Federici, Noone, Najjar, Uskok, Jovanic and maybe Oar or Rose (not Speedy's boyfriend). Not sure who else started for them.

Bit of speculation on players like Meredith, Mutch, Juric and maybe a few others who apparently haven't had the vaccine. I couldn't see them from photos provided. Also a key player in the Sydney team hasn't had the vaccine yet.

Sydney just pumped Macarthur 5-0. Le Fondre and Bobo had doubles, Kamsoba of all people scored.

You know kamsoba will score in the derby don't you

Sydney lineup as I judged from the pictures provided pre-match. A notable name missing for a few reasons.

No lineup posted for Macarthur.

we still have the likes of Milos Ninkovic, Anthony Caceres, Trent Buhagiar, Rhyan Grant, Michael Zullo

Are you suggesting that there might be some hesitancy to a prophylactic treatment?

Very curious to see Macarthur's line-up.

Their Instagram and twitter page posted a few photos from the game and I could pin point some of the players. There was Adam Federici, Daniel de Silva, Lachlan Rose, Charles M'Mombwa, James Meredith, Alexander Jovanovic, Craig Noone, Jordan Mutch, Tomislav Uskok and Nick Suman.

Hopefully, they'll announce more details tomorrow or in the upcoming days.

I heard some things but apparently they aren't true. I guess we will soon see...

Judging by the fact they deleted their tweet saying they lost 5-0 and replaced it with something else, i'm sure they won't be releasing much.

Interesting seeing some of the players who are supposedly anti-vaxx there.

The below quote was taken from the Jack Rodwell SMH article yesterday:

"Meanwhile, A-League players who choose not to get vaccinated for COVID-19 are facing the prospect of exclusion from training sessions and friendly games as well as competitive matches due to government and venue protocols.

They haven’t updated the team sheets to show Isuzu A-League Men yet

This time i wouldn't blame them, an oversight from the split from Football Australia

Sucks for Brattan

Do Sydney FC have youngsters they can call up?

Or do they need to make an injury replacement signing?

There's a few youngsters they could use: Yazbek, Nieuwenhof and Zuvela. However, Corica will probably stick to using Retre and Caceres

They are entitled to have an injury replacement for Brattan. Got a gut feeling they'll go for the likes of Nick Sullivan, Erik Paartalu or Chris Herd who are free agents at the moment.

Ninkovic was on the bench the other night so assume he is OK, just old.

I would expect them to try and replace Brattan with a foreigner in January. You'd be mad not to try and find one.

After the derby,  his knee was just about fully iced.

Ninkovic turns 37 next month (He was born on Christmas Day!) and Bobo is 37 in January. I wouldn't be surprised they hang up the boots after this season.

This is Ninkos last season of his contract, so looking likely I would say.

So will they postpone the game?

Apparently not.

With Davilla out for 4 weeks they would probably rather play this week.
