I have such good memories of that game. Probably the closest we have got to a full CommBank.

The Lolley rumour seems to be from the Journalist own opinion on the fact that Milanovic is leaving but not taking into account Staj's own words that he would promote Youth and NPL players over foreign players. Granted we are yet to confirm Staj continuing.

Also makes zero sense if Younis is comming back. The amount of minutes he has made he deserves to challenge for the 1st team spot along with Hammond.

I think only where it makes sense though. He wont promote to the point of self sabotage (god please dont). And once Younis + Mila are sold we dont have a starting RW/RM. Hammond is kinda handy off the bench but he really lacks any form of a consistency. We've done a lot of promoting the last 3 years and our current NPL squad is barely up to NPL1 standards. I want to preface this by saying I do NOT want Lolley, but he's miles ahead of anyone running around our academy right now

Thers really only 3, arguably 4, positions we need to go hunting for. RW, CM, RB - someone here that can keep pushing cleur and gersbach and CB, assuming Josh Laws is out the door. I also wouldnt be surprised if someone comes hunting for either of our centerbacks this offseason

Give us a decent fee and i’ll be happy i suppose. Word around Twitter that a German club is interested alongside a couple of Dutch clubs.

i dont think its a good move for younis....it doesnt make sense that a club who signed him on loan cuts him loose but then another club will go out and pay a transfer for a player in the second team.

IMO he needs a solid AL season.

Simmons was great season before last, but if i remember correctly had some defensive issues beginning of last season. Maybe Staj has marked his card due to that. 

Could be worth trying  next season as a winger which I think was his original position.

In other news Sydney are releasing Max Burgess and Jaiden Kucharski, wonder if either of any interest to Staj?

I'd make a play for a foreign player on the wing, although i'm doubtful considering Staj's comments about making the squad full of homegrown talent.

I think Simmons is gone in this off season, Staj doesn't seem to rate him like Rudan did

Jaiden Kucharski would be your typical Staj signing, Max Burgess wouldn't be joining us, probably you will see him play for Corica down in Auckland.

Yep, he even said that at the fans forum that he would love to have the club full of homegrown players, and I think he even mentioned that he wants utilise the best available talent we have in the NPL. And personally, I don't rate the NPLNSW that highly, not many players have stepped up from NPLNSW to the A-League and successful, and I think NPLVIC is a much better league and both WUN and Melb City have benefited from it and we got Panta from there too.

Kucharski went to Hills Sports High at seven hills. His coach for a long time there was Staj. I can see him signing him, not a great signing in my view but a major step up on Carluccio!
