I think if he had the respect of the club, coach and fans he wouldn't have celebrated, however being in Mooy's shoes I can completely understand. When Mooy left our club, the fans were frustrated that week after week he wasn't fulfiliing his potential and the coach didn't believe he was worth the money that he was asking. Does anyone remember how he played in the GF, his mind was already on Melbourne then...

Yep.

Obviously he doesn't like us very much. Get ****ed you SOB ,|,, (mooy that is, not you Prydz)

You make me laugh so hard, Mick. Let's not celebrate our success in case we offend our previous employers! Censor your feelings, Aaron, you ****!

Hahaha, I'd like to read more regarding your views on adjusting your behaviour based on what other people think. Shall we meet in the Politics thread?  :cheeky:

F*** me he's good

He's grown in confidence somewhat, taking on so much of the creative role he should've developed in his second season with us. And his work rate has improved (perhaps counterbalanced by a lesser emphasis on being in a defensive role).

For all the flash and quality however both City goals came from dead ball scenarios, which isn't that far from his modus operandi when he was scoring for us. If I was Van t'Schip I'd want him doing more things along the lines of what Shinji did for us, i.e. organising and creating the transitions and passes that led to goals, or scoring more often from open play.

As for the hate on him, nah, can't do that. If he'd gone to the smurfs maybe a different story. But he has grown as a player and still couldn't get the win last night so happy for him to keep improving for his sake and for the national team.

was it the wet weather it just seemed mooy was in turbo mode, didn't seem him as a pacy midfielder more of a laid back kind/technical wannabe, but then yet again compared to Triforo any one can seem fast!

He is a very special talent, we all knew that and so did Popa. He was always going to be hard to keep with the salary cap in play. If only he waited a little after Shinji left, his itchy feet were obviously painful sitting behind Tensai.

I still remember very clearly how he went in that trial/friendly out at the Riff before Season 2, when Popa had him playing as a creative CAM. The Adelaide lads monstered him and he was dare I say easily intimidated. Last night I don't believe anyone in red & black gave him a hard time consistently (well, at least those on the pitch), and he played well accordingly.

For those Yarrachester fans he would have to be one of the very few things for them to celebrate this season.

Is that $1.3 million per annum? Or is it $1.3 million over 3 years?

Have to be per year, no way they'd pay a marquee $400k a year especially if they wanted to entice him to stay at City. See my thoughts in the city thread.

Well done, Aaron. You probably increased you WSW salary tenfold, and are entitled to celebrate any future goals you might score against us. No doubt some of us will throw in some abuse for free.

I don't begrudge any player moving for more money, they have short careers & want to do as much as possible to set themselves up for as long as possible.

We playing against him next weekend.

I can't f*cking stand him. I think the confident has got to him and he acts a bit too cocky now.
