Davo
Football is my life, it’s something that gives me joy. I would even play even if they didn’t give me money. So that's how we fit Ruka under the cap... PhoenixK, Nnnnnathan12 and Lookers 3 Link to comment
smp
I like this strategy of signing young guys who have something to prove after being unable to bust through in Europe. I wonder if Popa is looking for people with ambition, but also not too proud to uproot halfway around the world to get some time on the pitch and fight for recognition. I'm hoping he'll provide some good competition for that LB spot. He's saying all the right things at least. Link to comment

essdub
He would have to be a gun. Can't imagine Popa filling a visa spot with a bloke all the way from Nigeria just to provide competition for Left Back. Link to comment

Taurus
No, but the important thing is getting Seyi's fitness levels up to speed atm. Seyi & Marty Lo were the only senior squad members to play. Ruka is pretty fit & could play some minutes in the Wellington or Perth games in coming weeks Prydzopolis 1 Link to comment

Taurus
If he doesn't play in the trail against Fiji U21's next Tuesday, I'd say he'd be a chance of game time in Wellington. I would expect Alessi, Fofanah, Sotorio & Ruka to definately gets some game time in coming weeks. Prydzopolis 1 Link to comment
MadKaw
Spoke to Adeleke and Ruka on Saturday, both said they expected to get there first game against Wellington. Castelen was there too (at the pre match park thing), all nice guys, chatting and getting pics with the kids. Unfortunately a lot of ppl didn't know who there were so it was a little uncomfortable for them at times.. :-) Edited October 27, 2014 by MadKaw Prydzopolis 1 Link to comment
