Nnnnnathan12 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Do England players really get an actually cap for every game they play? That must mean that guys like Beckham, Gerrard, Ashley Cole and Lampard have 100s of hats lying around everywhere lol
ManfredSchaefer Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 So....looks like Johnny Warren and Disney had a hand in the development of our beloved WSW crest: Chaopescado, HillsWanderer, Tranquilo and 11 others 14

ManfredSchaefer Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 On Tuesday I had a chance to drop into the Jamberoo Pub, home for almost all the treasures of Johnny Warren's haul of memorabilia. Following is a collection of some pics I took (and yes, they aren't the highest quality): Would love to have a meet-up down that way sometime...seriously, all of us mad old (and young) football tragics would go off seeing the stuff on display (plus the pub does a decent feed, has plenty of character and is across the road from the golf course) Jaggy, spectacular291, 102megan and 3 others 6
Jaggy Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Does his brother own the pub Manfred? you're looking good in that photo too, who is the third guy in the pic?
pseudonym Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 I think it's Jamie Warren (his son) who owns the pub. Side note: the Johnny Warren scarf is great. Jaggy 1
Nnnnnathan12 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Wow, a pub in Australia were I mention the word 'soccer' and some people actually seem interested in the conversation. Heaven spectacular291 and JackDoff 2
ManfredSchaefer Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Finally uploaded the video I took...excuse the shaky camera work and the less than informed commentary...I was trying to film and drink a beer whilst navigating around the pub's bistro tables all at the same time... Nnnnnathan12 Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 https://soundcloud.com/playbackmedia/polish-my-cockerel from 55:25 there's a story that Glen Hoddle (former Tottenham player and England Manager) tells about Paul Gascoigne playing in a 1998 world cup qualifier against Italy.Slightly racist in a way but I'm sure that it was taken in good fun

Nnnnnathan12 Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Own Goal in Nigeria vs Scotland Boooooo http://t.co/XgNqejM24u There was also reported match fixing from Nigeria before that game as well, if your going to fix a game there's less obvious ways to do that
