Mexico Squad

Goalkeepers: Jesus Corona (Cruz Azul), Guillermo Ochoa (Ajaccio), Alfredo Talavera (Toluca)

Defenders: Paul Aguilar (Club America), Andres Guardado (Bayer Leverkusen), Miguel Layun (Club America), Rafael Marquez (Leon), Hector Moreno (Espanyol), Diego Reyes (Porto), Francisco Javier Rodriguez (Club America), Carlos Salcido (Tigres)

Midfielders: Isaac Brizuela (Toluca), Marco Fabian (Cruz Azul), Hector Herrera (Porto), Juan Carlos Medina (Club America), Luis Montes (Leon), Carlos Pena (Leon), Jose Juan Vazquez (Leon)

Forwards: Giovani Dos Santos (Villarreal), Javier Hernandez (Manchester United), Raul Jimenez (Club America), Oribe Peralta (Santos), Alan Pulido (Tigres)

Also, Ashley Cole has been told he is out of the England Squad.

Slightly confident with Croatia's chances in this group looking at this squad, only 2-3 names are at a decent level.

Don't write them off - it was the no-names that actually turned things around for them and got them qualified after the bigger names flopped and almost ended in disaster. The squad that started winning games and got them out of the pickle was entirely mexican based.

Your right, plus it is in Sth America, the Europeans always struggle there.

And knowing our luck, we'll beat Brazil but then lose to Mexico and Cameron, i so wouldnt be suprised if that happened.

Going on paper we should be comfortable against both cameron & mexico.

Majority of the croatian players are in good form - Lovren, Kovacic, Modric, Rakitic, Mandzukic, Perisic, Olic.

Isn't Mandzukic suspended for the Brazil game?

One good thing there is that like half their team comes from the local league. They do reasonably well at the World Cup, getting out of the group stage and all - and that's only a good thing for the local league in showing the quality in it.

"SOCCEROOS: HOPPING OUR WAY INTO HISTORY!"

Only Gallop could be stupid enough to sign off on something so lame and out of touch with Australia's football public. What a joke!

On another note/bus, looks like Brazil will win it, not much point in watching then is there!
