I’m assuming one upside of the Olyroos failure is we should have Milanovic and Brook available for this.

Victory would get Teague, Valadon, and Velupillay back.

One thing we can all be assured of Marko Rudan WILL be the coach of Western Sydney Wanderers next season 2024-2025 , he will be given the opportunity to carry forward the quality players existing in the NPL team as well as a small group of the current A-League team along with 3 Foreigners.

Ninkovic will be sitting on the bench as an assistant coach along with heavy involvement in the youth program , a 3 year plan for him to take over as coach of western Sydney Wanderers the A-League team is in place.

The unknown is will Marko Rudan see out the current 3 year contract he currently has which obviously subject to performance.

****face has led us to 1 finals game which we embarrassingly lost to our biggest rival.

He then started the squad again more or less from scratch and ensured we had our pants handed to us multiple times in the season, embarrassed the club  - and by extension all of us - by bangng on about conspiracies to try and deflect criticism from his rapidly stuttering season, and didn't make the finals. Yeah yeah mathematically whatever. It's not happening.

The club has had difficulties with club culture/organisation, with rumblings in the past about various things. In his time at the helm - given free reign to address these issues - he seems to have made it worse.

"Subject to performance?" Please.

As for Ninko taking over in the future, great. Can't wait to see how that one works out.

Victory finish 4th at worst this weekend meaning they get a home final regardless of 3rd or 4th finish - perhaps they rest players/ field a weaker team in preparation for next week ?

Because he's mark Rudan?

I don't think anyone knows not even Rudan

It's part of the rich tapestry that is supporting WSW

I tend to agree with @William he'll be there next year at the very least.

Even when we don't make the finals this year.

As I've said before whoever gave him the three year extension is not going to sack him and pay him out to say they got it wrong.

The plan was in place the moment Marko Rudan signed the 3 year contract.

I think Carlo Robinho had a plan too, and JP and Babbel ...

As mike Tyson said everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face.

Our current form is that

Ah, plans in football, they work like clockwork, don't they?

I recall the statement wsw released after the brisbane grand final. almost 10 years ago now. Grand plans, briefly translated into reality with an ACL win and a GF two years later. Since then we've heard about "plans" every year, yet what we got is a seemingly never ending demolition job.

Last installment: in the decider against the smurfs Rudan allowed himself to be outcoached by Corrica, and sat motionless on the bench as the game slipped away. His assistant coaches from that night all left on their own accord.

Rudan told us that he's done a lot of "reflecting" after that humiliating loss, and he arrived at conclusions. The result is that we are playing crap ball more often than not, and we even added another humiliating home defeat to the history books.

No doubt there will be more reflecting, another round of assistant coaches, another group of disgruntled players leaving, followed by another season of incompetence barely disguised by eloquence.

Once rudan is finished at wsw, or the club with him, he'll be unemployable in australia and nz. but there is always india or malaysia. mind you, whoever is going to sign him beyond this point in time has my sympathy.

There is no plan, just a pipe dream, with the pied piper from sydney united and his merry mates leading us down the rocky road to nowhere.

Milanovic & Brook return as expected. Badolato out (dropped?). Beadling & Borrello injured.

Victory don't have Geria but otherwise have pretty much their full squad.

So over to you rude boy come on make my weekend. Those handsome Walton White Sox beating the evil piss stained hoard, now let's see WSW show some fight.

A few interesting lineup changes. Not sure how Clisby keeps his spot, but Simmons doesn’t?

Because the coach has no f.u.c.king idea.

Same as the bloke that gave him the extension ... NO F.U.C.KING IDEA.

HENCE THIS CLUB HAS NO F.U.C.KING IDEA.

Off topic.

Right now I don’t give a flying **** about WSW - my ice hockey team just got promoted in Germany to 2nd division.

Three years ago a local business man had enough of seeing them lose all the time, took over as chairman, appointed a CEO, opened his wallet, hired a quality coach and a quality sporting director who step by step built up a quality squad, and voila, the seemingly impossible became reality.

That’s what happens when someone knows what they are doing, and hires people who know what they are doing as well. Meanwhile, at WSW HQ…

Not that anyone cares: the celebrations at 5:55 are rather funny.
