Read in an article that Aussie Pat is out for another week.

Well according to the club's list he isn't in the squad, out of the squad or unavailable for selection to the squad.

On current form it will be tough away to the nix who will park the bus..and try to score on the counter...... 0-1 or 0- 2 loss.

That would be due to the vegemite

Reakon it's the dodgey bunnings snag from that promo video. A couple of those and you leave all your hardware in the boot.

I think after this game we will have a much better indication of how we are going to go this year

    the season starts now

Agree we will get better when those players come back. Still, if we get beat by the nix (even though it seems they have improved) I think it’s a sign we might struggle most of the season

Watching City v Smurfs - we put up a much better effort than city.  They are pretty useless.  A tired Smurf outfit are running rings around them and hardly any opportunities created by city.

I think Nix at home will be a tough encounter.  They and Perth should dominate home games as teams have to travel and deal with time zone differences.  Neither have been unbeatable at home but I suspect this season it may change for both. A tough outing tomorrow.

    Hoping for a 2-1 win.

First goal from Reira, runs past Nichols and gives him the good old "two fingers tongue out".

Second goal I'm hoping from a corner delivered from Baumjohann to Reira...and then he gives the "two fingers tongue out" to Nichols..again.

The Nix goal I really don't give a sh*t who scores it...most likely it'll come from Roy Hare Krishna or Serpent Snake Singh.

ALSO!, I'm Sotirio has a big game so his rumours to Cyprus United (aka Stanmore Hawks) begin.

Let's see if this games gets no VAR like the VAR FC vs Oil City had

    OUR SEASON BEGINS HERE!. :flag:

@mack I think the time is incorrect in the title (perhaps kiwi time?) Should be 5:35

Match time in the title is always local time. The main section shows what the kick off time is for Sydney.

Interesting line up, I thought Tongyik did alright in the two games

ODoherty looked good when he came

I don't know why he'd be in the lineup if he were hurt.

I imagine Babbel has looked at the Nix lineup and figured they aren't tall or strong enough to need Tongyik and he wants the more experienced Elrich instead?

Confused about the Tongyik omission. I thought he'd been pretty good so far. Injury maybe?

    Yep.

    On the bench though.

Didnt Elrich play in the friendly against the Nix?
