Shouldn't we do that every match!

Agreed, but especially now, no more finals and really nothing to play for so we might as well just go out there and put a dent into Sydneys season.

    Going to be well grim

    - low crowd

    - Out sung by sydney at our own (granted temporary) ground

    - probably get bummed by a team that played mid week

Providing Roly plays in position, ABJ actually turns up, Riera remembers how much he's on & why, Elrich remembers he plays in the A League not NPL2, Llorente remembers he's a professional player, Vedran doesn't do a Vedran - we're in with a shot. Duke will be my pick for man of the match, I can sense it now.

Brillante is in all sorts mentally right this minute after last nights hilarious stuff up so you'd want to be targeting him all night.

Apart from ripping a trophy out of their slimy arrogant self-entitled Eastern Suburbs hands and giving it to Popovic there's not much in this.

    Our defence is an omnishambles

I can’t see us winning, it’s going to be terrible

I’ve never been so convinced of losing a derby as I am now (and that includes 40 years of following Everton)

its all going to be fine as we have a new stadium next year

Sydney will be tired after, it going to be their 3rd game in 7 days. Michael Zullo got injured, Brillante is playing very poorly, De Jong might have gotten injured and overall they will be tired. A close game I suspect.

We can stop them getting the Plate and will after we win and Perth win Sunday.  So this it how it will pan out, we win 3-1 or maybe 3-2 if they get a late one, social media lights up saying WSW own this city, ESFC fire back we played ACL mid week, WSW fire back you mean that little tournament we won back in 2014 when we won more games in Asia that one attempt than you have in 5 attempts? and they all lived happily ever after and forget the **** season we had.

Crowd will be pitiful, atmosphere terrible and dont hold out any hope of a good result.

No exitement from me, the lad forgot it was even on and isnt going as has something with a friend prearranged.

This is the same boy that if you go through the season 1 and 2 derby threads used to wake up at stupid o'clock on derby day morning with his WSW top on and come bouncing on the bed all excited....fast forward to now and it is just 'meh'....sad.

No. He needs 8 to be suspended. He has 6.

If you get a red card from two yellows those yellows aren't counted. His cards are against Roar, SFC, Adelaide, City, Perth, the double yellow + red against City and then the yellow against the Jets. 6.

It says 7 on google? The commentators in the Newcastle game said he was suspended for next game. I bloody happy he is not though, he gives 110% every game.

They were wrong and miscounted his double yellows

Nizic, Fitzgerald, Sotirio, Tokich again not in the extended squad...

The big question is: will the team that played against City show up, or the one that collapsed against Jets? And: will anyone be eating kebabs prior to the game?

Put pressure against the ball, keep the opponent running, and in the last 20 minutes the Smurfs will feel the ACL game in their bones. I hope we'll still be in the game by then.

I think we will have the first 11 on the park as follows

    Vedran

    Russell.....Hamill....Tass.....Elrich

    .........Baccus......Mahazi

    Duke.........Treejack.......Bonevacia

    ..................Riera

    Bench

    Suman, Gallifuco, Yeboah, Bridge, Kamau

Possibly Kamau starts and Russell on the bench.
