You can see Pio working hard to win the ball, press, etc... Very much Dino-esque. Hope he gets a few more goals in but I'm generally happy with his performance

I thought Fred put in a good shift, he ran his ass off to shut down the defence whenever they were playing it around at the back. He butchered that chance but made a great run for that shot he had that's been mentioned. I thought that was probably his best effort this season.

 

 

Im keeping the faith with Pio, although I'm starting to feel like one of those guys with a Sandwhich board on going on about how Jesus will return and the rapture is coming next week. Then still believing it when another week goes by and it doesn't happen

 

The strange thing is he looks so strong on the ball when he's not in position to shoot, when he is in position it's like he rushes things. Serious confidence issue?

I just feel he just needs to score one decent goal (that isn't given to him on a platter) & things will change! Goal scoring is this guys bread & butter, yet he is struggling to find the back of the net. For me, as long as the team is performing, we are scoring & we get the 3 points every week then we shouldn't be overly concerned.

 

Popa saying we won't see the best of him for 4/5 matches is just a way on not putting too much pressure on him. The last thing we need is him putting too much pressure on himself to score, then he will try to take an opportunity instead of passing or try to take a shot when we should look at retaining possession. I still think we can get more out of him in terms of goal output.

I think our strongest line up is with Bridge striker and Vidosic, Nichols and Castelan behind him.

What is great of course is that the rest of our attacking line is killing it, so it's hard to complain too much.

Hasn't been mentioned yet but I thought it was brilliant that when the stands started turning on their phone torches, the RBB decided it was time to do 1 2 3 WEST - therefore forcing as many as possible to clap instead of being a wanker.
