I'm pretty sure everyone's misunderstood what they're saying.

 

My understanding is they're asking for a dp.

 

Well if anyone knows about being easily penetrated in more than one place it's the ESFC types...

Janjetovic played 16 games last season.

 

3 clean sheets and in those games he played in a side that concended 6 penalties in 6 different matches. And who went down to 10 men 3 times.

 

So how can you blame him for the goals?

 

Point is he has looked very impressive.

 

 

 

 

3 clean sheets...well woop-de-*****-do. That was 13 without clean sheets. And 51 goals let in overall for a team that was shite.

 

Go home troll and come back when your fail team actually has some runs on the board this season and instead has all the promise of a $3 hooker

 

Ahh, the old "I'm losing the argument so I will resort to verbal abuse tactics".

 

If you take a good, hard look you will see that SFC do have a strong team and have looked impressive. 

 

It is as open as ever at the top;

- CCM changing so many players.

- WSW having poor players individually and in season 2, oppositions will know how their systems and style.

- Victory lacking a striker. Thier preffered formation was void of attacking threat last night and that may continue.

 

- And then you have Sydney. Strenghtening immensely in the off-season with a new defence and attack built around Del for a change.

 

I shall return and look forward to the season ahead.

And I could make a reference about smurfs consistently looking for an ATM but never ever doing any banking when they find one, but that may be a bit too obtuse/crude for this family friendly G-rated forum.

WESTERN Sydney Wanderers defender Jerome Polenz has his fingers crossed that Alessandro Del Piero recovers from his calf strain in time for Saturdays Sydney derby.



Polenz is under no illusions about the threat Del Piero poses up front, but he has spotted a defensive weakness in the Italian's game.


"I think it will be better if Del Piero plays because my opinion is he’s not running a lot, so there would be more holes for us to go through," Polenz said.


"Of course he’s an outstanding player, but he’s also not working defensively so I think it would be better if he plays."

An earlier post brings up a fantastic point that the smurfs are higher than us on the table. And none of the trolls have had the balls to bring it up without starting conflict. They know that we are better

I'd say that they will most definitely start bringing it up if they beat us on Saturday night. I know what Jerome is saying is part of the mind games and banter between the two clubs. But we were at our most effective last season when we did our talking on the field. Let's not get too cocky, because from what I saw in the game against Wellington, we aint the finished product just yet. I am starting to get a little worried that some of our players might be getting a little too overconfident in what is traditionally a very tight league.

Right on. Difference between last place and top six could come down to one game.

Also let's not get too cocky about overtaking Allianz. Anyone who thinks SFC aren't going to show up in numbers is kidding themselves. They will outnumber us. We have to be on our game even though it's an away game we have set ourselves a standard from the first time there and we have improved since. Let's hope it shows.
