What Really Grinds My Gears 5

Oh yeh. All good. Thanks for asking.

Was dropping my daughter off to catch her bus for school. Pulled up behind a bus to let her out, and before she'd even opened the door, the stupid ****er starts reversing. I was at least a car length behind him. I didn't have time to reverse any further, and despite me blowing my horn aggressively, he just kept on coming. Hit the nudge bar on my ute and pushed it and the driving lights into the grill and front bumper. Car still drivable. Claim made with insurance company already and they have deemed me not at fault and will chase the bus company. No loss of excess as well due to not being at fault and my good driving record.

It's the ******* inconvenience that grinds my gears. Ist world problem I know.

Could've been a damn sight worse! Count yourself lucky.

What's wrong with it?

No no no - what's right with it???

What's it meant to be?

It's big and ..loud and .....distracting! :db:

And it juxtaposes rather incongruously with  "What is today but yesterday's tomorrow?" which is ...interesting!

But hey...you're the boss!

:meep: :meep:

FYI, this might just be because I have an admin account, but I'm pretty sure you can individually ignore a posters signature, there should be a little x and a down arrow.

Then again, you might be unable to ignore my signature.

Sorry mack, nice try ,but you can still hide it.....lol

Lol...it's not really an issue Mack.

It's basically  banter.

Funniest thing I have seen in a while was on a political blog with a " ignore  user " function.

When one blogger complained about another and how annoying his post were, he responded by saying "I know and I'm sorry about that. There are time when I even ignore myself."...lol

Ignore user functions are ebola.

My favourite are shadowbans. The user doesn't know it's happened, and everything looks fine to them if they make a post, but no-one else will see it. Especially useful against trolls & spammers if you think they might come back with another account if you ban it. It's like trolling a troll, because a troll functions on attention, but a shadowban completely deprives them of said attention, while not making it obvious that it's been done.
