The cove were not allowed a pre game pub or a march. Some disagreeemnt about “concession items” for stadium entry.

How the **** do you police that?

can't they just all turn up at a pub?

How do the police define them as the Cove as opposed to Sydney supporters who are going to the game

There has to be more to that story, surely. WSW/RBB have had way more dramas with the authorities than the cove has yet I can’t recall ever hearing that the pub was banned haha

Yeah seems strange. I assume they requested a range of things including a march and tifo and it all got knocked back. Also, I just realised that they have not had a tifo this season. They usually like to get into the measuring of tifos and debating who had the biggest erection this season.

My understanding is that the Cove are baffled too. They usually don’t have issues.

Its a bit concerning because if they are getting some flak from cops, you know 100% they will be targeting RBB leading up to NRL at Commbank. We will need to be wary of it in the coming months hopefully nothing happens but its concerning.

Assuming there was incident that involved the Cove, the police will this as an excuse to stop the pre-planned march, tifos and other gatherings. And NSW Police do have the power to shutdown any events if there was no co-operation from the APL and will claim this as very high risk event.

Their whole supporter base loves brown nosing which is ironic cause the most vile abuse I’ve witnessed at a sporting event has come from Sydney fans when entering and exiting Moore Park over the years.

Two people charged with bringing firearms into the MCG during an AFL match between Carlton and Collingwood

Can you imagine the media coverage if this was us?

Dutton would be calling for visas to be revoked and bringing back the death penalty

On bail already, bringing guns (one loaded) and then refusing to leave after causing **** so badly the cops end up arresting them instead of just tossing them out. :nono:

Yeah, and Albo would be increasing immigration so no one can buy a house

Looks like the North Terrace leadership and core group have been banned for 2 years. An incident happened with them at an NPL game apparently.

I'm assuming this is in relation to:

During our NPL Round 8 fixture in Shepparton, extreme anti-social behaviour was displayed, including homophobic slurs, which are not reflective of our values, and is completely unacceptable. This means, we are again in a position where a small group of people attending Melbourne Victory fixtures have engaged in conduct which:

Can't cry foul here.

They went up to Shepparton and ripped more pyro than people attended the game and spent their time abusing opposition players with various slurs. Probably thought they would get away with it because of the A-League game that was on at the same time without realising one guy with a DSLR and the entire group would be snapped in 8K Ultra High Definition. It was also apparently attended by people with existing FFA sanctions/bans.

Just on the pyro alone that could have been a 5 FFA year ban, having banned supporters in their group could be an easy 2 on top of that.

I’m all for a fair trial but North Terrace are taking the piss here. Their compulsory active group manifesto (which is lacking in word count by aleague standards), suggests they have all been randomly banned and this has come as a complete shock. They’re claiming there’s no evidence yet it’s well documented what happened in Shepparton…
