Once that's over he's on the market to sign for another club with a return overseas being the preference. Correct, however his son had a liver condition not to long after he was born. I'm simply just passing on what I was told. We are interested, thats it for the moment. Edited March 22, 2021 by THEWANDERERSPOST
MathyouWSW Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 If somehow the club decides to sign Vukovic, I would make it for the remainder of the season. He could be a smart decision if Margush does get the call up to the Olyroos.

Vukovic is still being paid by Genk to the end of his contract so we could not even sign him on loan unless there is another transfer window before the end of the season.

Could be wrong but I thought the transfer windows were a lot different this year because of COVID. We were still in one last month, even though it usually finishes on the 31st of January.

More likely Glover starting, then Delianov and/or Margush backup. Mind you national teams usually pick 3 keepers. I just thought since Arnold still probably has a love interest with Sydney FC, he might pick Heward-Belle. Glover, Delianov and Margush would be the smart choices for Goalkeeper.

iamwesternsydney Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 I still think Cox has value, just depends on individual game, if we need a hold up player he has the better quality than ibini and yeboah. He has better ball control but ibini and yeboah offer the running game which he lacks. tardotz, Sithslayer1991, TwoLeftFoots and 2 others 5
Upthehill Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 Scuttlebutt is Ugark early with 2 going back the other way.
papersun Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 Zeigler possibly, as they have a couple of central defenders injured, and a dm take your pick of Lesiotos, O' Doherty or even Mutch. I suppose Georgievski as well although they seem to have enough fullbacks.
mack Posted April 5, 2021 Author Posted April 5, 2021 Must be why he's not playing tonight. Honestly, I can't see him having much of an impact. We've already got 4 defensive midfielders (Baccus, Dorrans, Mutch, Lesiotis) and 4 attacking midfielders (Troisi, O'Doherty, Grozos, Muller) and Ugarkovic won't add anything they all haven't. Cancar, O'Doherty and Grozos would be more likely players to go to Newcastle.

THEWANDERERSPOST Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 Um wtf? I can’t find this Ray Gatt tweet below, is it a doctored image? Losing Tass would be a huge loss.

mack Posted April 5, 2021 Author Posted April 5, 2021 I don't get why we'd get rid of Tass. O'Doherty's contract is running out but Tass we just signed for another 2 years after this. Getting rid of him when Ziegler is almost surely going to leave at the end of this season is weird. alexd 1

Im guessing CR doesnt want to run 2 young CBs. Might have been told Natta has jumped him on the depth chart
mack Posted April 5, 2021 Author Posted April 5, 2021 Might be a loan signing perhaps. Tass is still U23 so he's eligible for the loan system. Carns, alexd and StringerBellend 3

Westiesarebesties Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 Maybe they’ve decided to put their money on Natta as our youth CB. Meaning Tass won’t get the game time he is after. That’s only real reason I could see that happening, will be a shame. I’ve been a big fan of Tass. Also not sure if we even need Urga at the moment?
THEWANDERERSPOST Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 The clear swap is Georgievski and O'Doherty for Ugarkovic. Both haven't played in a while and don't look like they will be needed any time soon. I think Ugarkovic could be a good signing, knows how Robinson likes to play and was really exciting under him. Hasn't had the best season so far with Jets but it seems his situation with the Jets may be affecting how he is playing. The team around him isn't particularly flash either. In saying that we have so many defensive midfielders, and only 2 spots to put them in using this formation. It is seems we aren't getting the best out of our players. We need a formation/system change in order to get players playing in their most comfortable positions instead of playing them in unnatural positions (AKA Wingers playing at CAM). I would rather sign Matt Millar to be honest, for me Russel and Aquilina have looked a bit dodgy (bar the start of the season). I feel like Russel is too comfortable with his place in the squad and needs some good competition for his spot. Millar works really well in that RWB spot and played well under Robinson. Tass would be a big loss, a loan deal would be ok, however I feel he is a very valuable player in the squad and is needed at the moment. TwoLeftFoots and wendybr 2
Frankos187 Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 There’s absolutely no way Tass will go on loan. He is a starting CB, it’s surely a communication error with Gatty, possibly another CB in Ziegler. Tass was only out because of an injury, not performance wise. CR is a lunatic if he allows Tass to go. With a two for one swap, it would allow room for another Aussie CB/LWB. Jurman in favour over in Greece? Is Jason Davidson a possibility???

Davidson wants to stay in Korea to fight for his spot. I really wouldn't take Jurman back, he along with Mcgowan gave me nightmares last season. Jurman looked so disinterested in that game where we got annihilated against the Roar in Suncorp it wasn't funny. Surprisingly turned up in big matches like the Sydney Derby however. I've got a feeling there will be a few signings before the end of the season. wendybr and alexd 2

Hughesy Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 If Tass keeps developing on the trajectory he is currently on, the club could make some decent money from selling him OS in a few years. Not a chance they’d get rid of him. Carns and alexd 2
Sithslayer1991 Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 Wasn't the first tweet JOD and Georgevski. And now somehow its Tass. I can't see Tass going if he does it will be one of the dumbest decisions by the club. Carns 1
billybob Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 I hope it isn't Baccus or Tass. 1. They are both good young players 2. The club has the potential to get a nice transfer fee for both of them some time in their future. You would assume/hope that it is players that we deem surplus at the moment but the Jets may find useful. Sithslayer1991, sonar, alexd and 1 other 4
