I got sent mine via text ages ago. Is this what you are talking about?

Yeah he said they weren’t released yet? I got a confirmation that I redeemed them but not the tickets themselves.

Could it be that if you chose "Mobile Ticket", those tickets are ready, whereas if you chose "Print at Home", the PDFs aren't ready?

Yeah, I chose mobile ticket, so I already have mine. Im sure the "print at home" ones will come within the next 24-48 hours.

Waiting on my 5 tickets - I went with print at home.

Got this from Wanderers just now.

We have not been provided a date of when these will be released.

No one attending the match this weekend has received tickets yet.

We expect them to be released soon.

Didnt the club announce today that we now are able to have 100% capacity and we can use our memberships as normal...

This was the email;

Hi Steve,

Following the NSW State Government announcement that stadiums are now allowed 100% capacity for events, we have been working hard to make your member experience at our first home match, the Sydney Derby on Saturday 20 November, a positive one.

You can now use your membership card for entry into CommBank Stadium and access to your reserved seat.

Please find below a few Top Tips to prepare you for access into CommBank Stadium:

  • All patrons (16+) must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination before entering the Stadium. A digital or printed version of their COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate will be accepted.
  • To make the entry process as easy as possible, fans should download or print their COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate before arriving at the Stadium.
  • Please STAY HOME if you are feeling unwell, have been diagnosed with COVID-19, been in contact with a positive case or are awaiting the result of a COVID-19 Test.
  • Plan to arrive early at the Stadium, leaving plenty of time for the entry process and to find your seat.
  • Consider all your transport options and travel with your group. For the best and most up-to-date transport info, including parking options and public transport, head to the Transport for NSW Event Page here.
  • Fans are strongly encouraged to bring and wear a facemask, and be mindful of how and where they dispose of them.
  • Visit CommBank Stadium’s COVID Safe Information page for all the info you should know before attending the Sydney Derby.

Dont you lot read... you don't need printed tickets or phone etc..just use memberships as normal

Yep, we read and GA requires a printed ticket and they will not accept memberships as the seats for this game are allocated, it's no longer GA..

I gotta say, this is an absolute **** show…

It's actually not.

People just need to read the club's press releases and members need to read their emails properly.

The club made all this info very clear in an email a week ago.

I'm actually bemused by all the confusion tbh. I'll gain entry with my plastic membership card the club sent me in my membership pack about 3 weeks ago, knowing that I will need to show proof of my Vax certificate as well, to gain entry.

It's been stated several times on this forum who can and can't use their membership cards and who needs to redeem their originally allocated ticket E-Ticket.

It's actually quite simple.

I am pumped. Due to work committments, health issues, covid and other sundry family committments, this will be my 1st match in 3 years I'll be attending. And what a home coming. Bringing all the kids, and a daughters boyfriend is tagging along too.

COYW!

Btw, 2-0 to us.

Oh Sh*t, @Benched...I just noticed you're from Goulburn, is that true?!

Going to be a long trip to Parramatta this weekend.

Hope it's worth it and the squad gets the 3 points for you! :good:

I’ve just gone back and checked all emails I’ve received regarding the game and there isn’t a single piece of text in any of them that makes that distinction clear. I sadly can’t make the game but had to help my dad redeem his ticket and he has received the same correspondence as me. The latest email sent yesterday says in bold text:

MEMBERSHIP CARDS WILL NOT BE VALID FOR THIS MATCH. Members who wish to access the match MUST redeem tickets via Ticketek.

I’ve had to clarify everything from others on this forum who had to enquire themselves. The ticketek email with the link saying you can track when the tickets will be released doesn’t even have any sporting events listed on it.

So based on what I have received (or lack there of), yes - it’s a **** show.

Yeah see this is very misleading when you compare that to what I received which suggests it’s applicable to all members.

You know me, I’m usually a staunch supporter of the club but this time I feel they’ve communicated the message poorly.

To be fair, the COVID rules were changing after they had commenced the ticketing system. Very tricky for them.

Definitely, but at the end of the day it was the club who decided to proceed with the original plan and then changed it to one rule for some and another for others but didn’t articulate that.

Sorry, you are wrong, every week emails were sent by the club regard the tickets since they lifted to 100%

It varies for members of different categories.

As far as i'm aware of, the members in the more expensive categories can use their memberships for this match (from what i've seen on here).

Those in lower categories such as general admission aren't reserved their seat and have to enter by claiming a ticket (for this match only I think).

Its not hard to understand, but I can get why some don't considering people are in different membership categories and don't all get the same emails.

It seems that some membership types have allocated seats and others don't. With an expected large crowd they have to have allocated seats for everyone - perhaps also part of COVID restrictions. So those memberships with non-allocated seats have been required to be allocated s seat so everyone has a seat for this game???

The ticketing system via Ticketek, when under strict COVID restrictions required separated seating and distancing - that's relaxed so everything is effectively normal except where specific seats need to be allocated for GA and RBB... These seem to be allocated via Ticketek system, a bit removed from the club and probably connected with WS Stadium???
